Finally made it to N&J Café for the first time, and I can’t believe it took me this long! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service couldn’t have been better.

I had the Shawarma Plate with gyro, and my wife got the Mixed Platter with shish kabobs and chicken, both were spot on. Great presentation, generous portions, and top-notch flavor all around.

We also popped into their little store next door and were blown away by how many Mediterranean goodies they carry, stuff you just can’t find anywhere else in town.

Definitely one of those places that makes you proud to live in Wichita. We’ll be back for sure!

Would have definitely give a 4 or even a 5 however every time I come in for a pick up order, whether it’s busy or not, I’m never helped in a timely manner. I even make eye contact with staff members and it seems as though they’re intentionally ignoring me to tend to other guests.

I totally understand it’s important to take care of the people who are already here but it’s a bit ridiculous to wait for 30-45 minutes every time I have a pick up order.

Other than that, food is always great!

This was our first time at N & J Cafe. I had heard about their food for years but we are hardly ever on the south side of Wichita. The restaurant itself is very simply laid out. The staff was very friendly. I had the meat pies and hummus, my wife had the kafta and hummus.
The hummus was excellent. One of the waiters offered to bring me some different sauces to dip my meat pies in, especially since I requested ketchup . He brought tahini sauce, yogurt and also tzatziki. I loved the dill flavor on the tzatziki and it complemented the meat pies very well. Overall the food was 9/10 the service was 9/10 and the atmosphere was 7/10
We would definitely come back. Many new foods I would love to try. Highly recommend N&J. I really wanted to try some of their cakes pies and sweets – they all looked delicious but I couldn’t even get through all 3 of my meat pies.
Also the price was well under what I would have expected I think our total meal was around $32. Very reasonable.

My top 3 restaurants in town. Best Mediterranean food around IMO. Love getting the combo platter as a meal, but you really can’t have a bad meal.

Great place to eat. Food is always fresh and is served promptly. Occasionally there is a mix up on orders but when notified, they immediately correct the error. Restaurant is clean and bright. Enjoy shopping at the middle east market next door when do e eating. I recommend N&J’s.

A Wichita landmark! Living in the Commonwealth of Virginia, I used to lament, “The Lebanese food on the east coast doesn’t compare with what you get in Wichita.” Many times, I would tell my friends in the Air Capital just how lucky they were to have N&J. After a decade, I finally had a chance to return. It didn’t disappoint! The food is still some of the finest Lebanese cuisine in the nation. The service is still friendly and top notch. This place is a treasure! It definitely won’t take me ten years to come back again. When you’ve had the rest, visit N&J and try the best!

Revisited this place after many years and glad to have done it.

Ashley took care of the service and she was friendly and attentive. She was quick to refill the water and informed me that Mondays are “free hummus” days which allowed me to choose my dishes accordingly.

The food tasted as good as it used to be. The quality and consistency is still there. After dining in, I placed an order to go as well.

The place hasn’t changed much since I last visited and I think an upgrade to the place would really do good for business. They do have ample parking.

If you are in the Wichita area and looking for an authentic Mediterranean restaurant, visit this place. You will not be disappointed.

If you like garlic and you want your tongue to go numb, this is the place to go! Everything here was delicious. I got to try a little bit of everything. It felt like. I cannot give it a five star because the service was absolutely horrible unfortunately. The place was not that busy but the waitress really struggled with checking in on us and then they brought other people’s food out at our table and there was so much time before our meal came out that the others were able to finish their meals. I know it’s not always easy but everybody should be getting their food at the same time and going out to dinner together. There was about a 10-minute gap between their food and ours. And before that it was about a 45-minute wait for our food. Other than that everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and I have no other real complaints.

If I could give this place 10 stars, it still wouldn’t be enough! We’re visiting from South Carolina and decided to try N&J Lebanese/Mediterranean Café & Bakery — and wow, what an incredible experience!

It started with our waitress, a very pleasant young lady named Aria, who was so attentive and friendly. She quickly brought us fresh bread and pita chips, took our drink order, and returned in no time.

We ordered the Combination Platter, which came with stuffed cabbage rolls, grape leaves, falafel, hummus, kibbee, laban, baba ghanouj, and tabouli. Every single item was delicious, but the cabbage rolls and grape leaves were the best we’ve ever had — you can truly taste that they’re homemade and made with love.

I ordered the Kafta sandwich, and it was absolutely delectable — perfectly chargrilled with red onion and hummus, full of flavor in every bite. My husband had the Shawarma sandwich and said it was the most delicious sandwich he’s ever eaten. Neither of us wanted to share because each sandwich had such unique, unforgettable flavors!

First time my fiancé and I have been to N&J’s, we walked in and immediately felt the cozy atmosphere. Scotty was our server for the evening, and tended to us right away. Started the meal off with chicken shawarma fries, and the green sauce with it was the highlight of our meal! I ordered the gyro, and he ordered the special, which we were informed later that no longer was available so Scotty offered a similar substitute. Food took a bit to come out, but she checked on us regularly and let us know, and brought us some baklava for the wait. The food itself was fine, but nothing that either of us were crazy about. We ordered dessert to go, and really enjoyed the carrot cake and chocolate cake. Overall good experience, the food wasn’t our number one spot.
