Ed and the team at Friends are spectacular. After 5 years of being in the area, the wife and I can say hands down, this is the best breakfast in Flagler Beach/ Palm Coast. Case in point, it’s not on the menu, but if you ask for Brandon’s breakfast sammich, you’ll be delighted with Crispy Bacon, Sausage patty, tomato, Swiss, and mayo on a croissant. Delicious! Thanks for breakfast everybody, we appreciate y’all!

Reasonably priced diner for no nonsense breakfast. Omelet was excellent (see pic). French toast was very tasty the second trip there. Turkey patty a little tough and dry though. Servers friendly and attentive. Bathroom clean. Overall, would recommend.

Went there for breakfast today (1/15/25) and had the breakfast burrito plate, pound cake French toast and corned beef. The burrito was tasty and full of ham, egg, cheese and peppers. Very filling. The pound cake French toast was like having dessert but was also done well. Cute setting license plates all over the walls. Give it a try for an “old Florida” breakfast!

Honestly, this was our last time ever coming here. We’ve visited a few times before, but this experience was beyond disappointing.
The staff was incredibly rude. There were only about five people in the entire place, so it definitely wasn’t busy. When we walked in, the short older woman with short spiked white hair immediately yelled at us to “just sit.” After that, she proceeded to help everyone else — including people who came in well after us — without ever once acknowledging us. We sat there feeling completely ignored.
As the only person of color in the room, the way I was treated felt uncomfortable and, quite honestly, discriminatory. Whether intentional or not, it did not sit right. Basic courtesy and acknowledgment go a long way, and we received neither.
On top of the poor service, the cleanliness was alarming. The grills were visibly dirty, the air vents looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the overall environment just felt unkempt and unsanitary. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when the space itself feels neglected.
If it weren’t for the woman with the long ponytail stepping in and attempting to salvage the situation, we would have walked out much earlier. She was the only bright spot in an otherwise terrible experience.
We will not be returning. No one deserves to feel unwelcome, dismissed, or uncomfortable the moment they walk through the door — especially in a place that can’t even maintain basic cleanliness.

First of all the coffee served was bottom of the pot. Horrible. Second my biscuits and sausage gravy was sickening. The gravy taste like flour and I couldn’t find sausage at all. The server never once came back to check on us.. and they were not busy.. By far this was the worst breakfast I have ever ate out. Came in as a stranger and left the same way

Our food was so fantastic. So fresh. There was a line out the door but the wait wasn’t crazy long. I had bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was great. My mom had the western omelette and my brother had the pork roll breakfast sandwich. All of it was so good

Pancakes are the size of the plate and they made me blueberry ones. Rick just ordered what he wanted and they worked it out for us!! Fun atmosphere and service was outstanding!!
