My hubbie and I started visiting the Jefferson Point/ Illinois Rd. McAlisters about 9 months ago. We have nothing but good to say about it! The covered patio is great in nice weather. I love the hanging baskets of flowers. The food is yummy and made with fresh ingredients with lots of healthier choices than a burger or taco place. It’s not a fast food restaurant, although we do get our food within 15 minutes. We order at the counter and our food is delivered to us by one of the friendly wait staff. They come back to ask if they can get us anything after 5 minutes and they clear our dishes away and ask how the food was. That’s not fast food protocol, that’s restaurant style. The atmosphere is not a sports bar. In fact, there’s no alcohol served here, which I love! There are 3 big screen TVs up but the volume is kept low. They play the rectro hits we love on the music system. We visit at least once a week but many times twice a week. We have a favorite table. Shout out to Bethany, the Asst Manager. She and Victoria have made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

We have visited McAlister’s Deli often mostly at the Jefferson Point location but recently we have been heading up to the Lima Rd location. I feel like the store is brighter, cleaner, and is generally a better experience. I usually try to get the Gluten free bread on the sandwiches but it’s very dry and crumbly. I’m glad for the option but I don’t think I can recommend it for texture and taste.

It is Wednesday July 31st decided to order from my go-to restaurant McAlister’s deli.
I utilized doordash often as I’m a single person and I work from home. I order from McAlister’s at least once a week. Tonight I have to say I’m very disappointed. Place an order for the chicken caesar salad and it arrived with no chicken and the lettuce part of it was dark green and and wilted but I’m not even sure that’s the right word it just didn’t look healthy.
Needless to say I didn’t eat it. Ordered a baked potato requested sour cream… Nope you’re not getting any sour cream…
Food is just too expensive anymore to not get quality service and quality food. The salad was a $14 salad there’s no way I would pay that just for lettuce…. I will be stepping away from McAlister’s for a while guess I’ll have to find another go-to… I think they got some management issues going on there something’s going on because the quality of their food has changed. Oh and the little cookie they gave you with any of the children’s meals looks like it’s for a toddler not for a young child.

Not bad pretty fresh good for the price. Only thing I didn’t like was the sandwich was cut in small pieces;so meat fell out. overall pretty delicious. Would recommend

Had an employee appreciation meal delivered and everything was absolutely! There is a great variety and everyone was pleased with their meals. Personally, I had a customized spud with cheddar cheese, broccoli, bacon, butter & sour cream and it was amazing!

Around 3 pm on a Sunday, there was only 1 upfront person, 1 kitchen chef and 1 person around the dining room.
My party was one of the few there, and it was a typical hybrid fast-food and restaurant experience.
McAlisters Deli used to be a dining experience like Olive Garden, but it has become more of a Panera where there isn’t a server or restaurant experience. It is more of a cafe.

The food came out and placed for us within 10minutes which was the only time we saw an employee checkup.
The food was warm, I would’ve liked the potato a few temperatures higher as the potato got lukeroom quickly. Also, it seemed our ingredients for our food was a bit slapped on. I have never seen their potatos where the ingredients aren’t even inside the potato, or the cheese melting with the ingredients.
I got a strawberry tea, and I was a bit confused I didn’t get a lemonade tea when I asked for it. It is a self-serve tea dispenser which was nice. The sweet tea was it’s usually sweetness.

I did come by for a box to take some of my food home. The only upfront person was busy brining plates out so I waited for the other employee who recently came in or appeared. They seemed a bit busy so I waited. The kitchen staff member asked if I needed anything in the end.

I love McAlisters Deli, and my experience today did not change by these new developments the Deli is going through. The food still taste the same, but it’s not the quality worth $30 combined.

First time I’ve ate at McAlister’s and I’d say it’s probably one of my favorite deli sandwich shops now! Was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The soup was excellent too. Highly recommend!

This was our second experience at McAllister’s and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Got just enough by buying the 6 inch sandwich and I would definitely go back again.

We were given Free Meal cards by a McAlister’s Mgr from another location bc we told her we had never tried the Brand. Well upon walk in, a female named Nijier (spelling cld be wrong but she is the one w the large black plastic glasses) decided to open a 2nd register and just stood there. Then she said, about as low as she cld, “I’ll take whoever is next” while staring off into the restaurant. Of course no one but me heard her, and she simply stood there wouldn’t address anyone in line. Finally I said to her, “perhaps u cld directly address one of the customers standing in line and actually look at them instead of making it clear you really don’t want to help anyone”. She just rolled her eyes. As we stepped up to the register, she just walked away. Brianna came over to take our order and was amazing. She apologized for the other girl. Then Alaina brought our food and she was amazing. Briana even brought us some cheesecake as an apology. Hattie was also great and brought us a to go box and a smile! Nijier does NOT belong anywhere in the hospitality business! If it weren’t for Brianna and Alaina, we wld NEVER give McAlister’s another try! Wldve been ONE & DONE! That’s what that person is doing to your business! Great food. Take a look!

A good place for lighter meals…salads, soups, sandwiches and loaded baked potatoes. The food is good. Prices are average. Attentive service.
