always go to Applebees but today I decided to go to this location since I had a few stops down 202, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger got home jus to have gotten a cheeseburger with a whole Cobb of lettuce on it never again I’ll stick to kirkwood hwy
Update: I spoke with Hailey the manager she refunded half which I do feel is reasonable I will now try it again maybe and make sure to check my order !

To start off walking into this Applebees we were not greeted. Instead the hostess was yapping and not paying no attention. Finally we get seated. Finally got a server and placed our drink and appetizer order. The servers vibe was not pleasant and not friendly at all. We then place our meal orders and it took quite a while. Food finally comes out and it’s wrong, he put the wrong items in for out order so we had to wait yet again. Then when the check comes it has our meals plus the INCORRECT ORDERS. So now we have to wait for that to be fixed which took well over a half hour just for a manger to take off the extra charges. It was just not a good experience. I love Applebees but I will never come to this location again.

My experience here was awful. The waitress was miserable and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder; Almost like we were bothering her by being there, even though we were nice as pie and very polite. We had to ask for silverware, we had to ask for bread plates cause we got an Appetizer to share and The best thing I can say about the whole experience was that the food tasted really good. Although The meals weren’t brought out at the same time. My son had to watch us eat for 10 minutes before his wings finally made it to the table. The waitress decided that after we were served our food that she was “done”. She Never came back. We needed refills. We needed “to-go” boxes and we needed the check! But she was across the restaurant sitting in a booth chatting and laughing with her co-workers and eating HER dinner. I had to ultimately pay the bill thru the little kiosk thingy on the table, and walk around looking for someone to give me a box for my food. It just so happens that the lady who gave me the box was a manager. I told her how unhappy we were and that we had to leave cause we were still thirsty and I had water in the car! I also told her that I didn’t appreciate what the waitress did. At that point, she said “I am sorry about your experience, is there anything I can do for you?“ And I said “well, not now! I already paid the bill and I’m really mad so I wanna leave”. We will never visit this particular Applebee’s again. And I hope that they can do something as far as the employees AND Management there because something needs to change.

This place needs a serious overhaul. I called 6 other places that all had 45+ min wait on a Saturday night and called here and there was no wait and i see why. First we stood at the front for 5 minutes awkwardly because there’s no host stand and no host up there. One miserable looking employee walked by us twice without saying anything when she was either coming or going from break im assuming. Sat down to a dripping soaking wet booth (whatever it was just cleaned i get it). Waiter with zero and i mean zero personality at all. (Maybe having a bad night but added with the rest of the experience because it’s party why the dinner sucked). Food sucked. My wife got broccoli with cheese as a side and it came by plain so asked if we could get cheese. They bring out a new one covered in cheese and also horseradish sauce? Again whatever. Also steak wasn’t cooked how she asked. No empty cups or empty app plates were cleared from the table. The draft from the windows felt like the air conditioning was blowing. Then waiting for the bill i click on a game on that little machine at the table, then click out. It has the audacity to try and sneak $3 on the bill . I cannot remember the last time we only tipped 20% on a dinner, usually a 50-60% tipper. Tonight tipped 20%. And listen if even 2 or 3 of these things happened we chalk it up and move on. But this place flat out sucks.

My mother, sister and I came here for lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. Food was fresh and hot. Service was great. Sean was our waiter, he had great energy and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you guys!

Honestly the worst experience ever!

First off we waited after we were seated for 10-15 mins, I had to ask can we at least put a drink order in. The restaurant wasn’t busy.

Bartender working alone and no one to really run and grab her food.

Our food came out cold. The wonton tacos chicken felt like it came out the fridge. Boneless chicken bits were cold. My some of my friend food didnt come out. She had to ask for the rest of her food.

We sent the boneless bits back only for them to come out hard or seemly been fried and dipped back in the sauce.

Piles of plates sat on our table, no came to fill our glasses with more water or clean some of plates off our table.

As an experienced supervisor in food service and current server. I was very disappointed in the service.

The manager brought our food out but didn’t introduce herself as the manager. Until my friend offered her a tip for listening to our experience. Even more concerning because I expected better service.

The manager did listen to our complaints but on the way out said….”let us know when you want to come back to critique us again”. I wouldn’t dare return to this location in a millions years. Clearly the manager needs more experience managing her staff .

You pay for good food and good experiences. This definitely was the worst experience from start to finish.

Awful experience at this location. Was seated promptly and the food was ok. Beyond that this spot was despicable. Waited 10 minutes to place a drink order on a not too busy Saturday afternoon. When placing our dinner order and having a couple questions you could almost see our server rolling her eyes. It wasn’t complicated. Had to ask each time for straws, silverware, napkins, sharing plates while half the staff stands at the bar doing nothing. My son had to wait an additional 10 minutes after our food came out for his meal. Why?.. Who knows.. Then, the kicker, our server just stops. No explanation. Needed drink refills, extra napkins, maybe dessert?.. Nope, she decided it was time for her break so she sat down on the other side of the restaurant to eat and hang with other coworkers.. Nobody said anything to us. Nobody took her place. Nothing. No takeout boxes, not even the check . We had to pay via the little table kiosk. When we briefly expressed our frustration with a manager woman before leaving she just basically shrugged and said What do you want me to do?? Maybe manage your employees and restaurant?!! My family was as polite as can be and almost everyone there was rude, disrespectful, and downright unprofessional. I’ve never had a server just stop like that in my 50 years of life. It was an unacceptable situation and I will tell you to Never go to this spot-

So I got the all you can chicken tenders boneless chicken and riblets special when I tell you whatever they bought out for the riblets was the most disgusting thing you ever want to see on a plate and the manager bought it out like it looked okay bon appetit she said I’m not sure what it was but I stop my meal right there and ask for the check y’all can’t be feeding folks that crazy work ‍♀️ oh they also messed up on the sizzling chicken and shrimp super dry no sizzle …..

Should’ve remembered they only make burgers pink or no pink. I specifically asked the bartender if the burgers were made to order, since i didn’t care for places that only did them two ways. She said they were, so I asked for medium rare. It came out overcooked, which is when she said they were made either pink or no pink, that she thought “made to order” meant made when you order them. Like, I specifically mentioned not liking places that made them only two ways, did you not hear that? Best part, she asked if I wanted anything else, and I told her I just wanted the check. Didn’t take the item off, didn’t offer to check with a manager, nothing. Don’t think I’ll be going back there
