We started with the guacamole and ribs, which were both incredible. I had the lamb taco next – tasty, though quite olive-heavy, so I picked a few off (just personal preference!). We also shared the nachos, which were unfortunately a bit sub-par.
We arrived around 4pm and were the first ones in, so the atmosphere felt a little flat to begin with, but it picked up quickly. Overall, a great experience with just a couple of small misses in the nachos and the early vibe.

Exceptional and accommodating service. The menu is full, bright and explanatory for 1st mexi-goers or those not knowing the hispanic/mexican terminology. Cocktails are delicious and unique, and the food omgosh…. so full of fresh, burning flavours, absolutely delicious. Our service lass was attentive and had big personality an absolute bonus!
Fajitas steak was a bit over cooked for our liking, but tender and tasty nonetheless. Definately a place to share with amigos or on a date. Big sombreros, big laughs, reasonable bill. Ps: thanks for the birthday tequila, what a bonus.
Ordered: Chicken taquitos, Share Fajitas with extra tortilla, Share Nachos, Green rice and too many drinks to count. Missed out on the flan as was too full!

Really nice vegan food, the vegan nachos were unusual but easily some of the best I have ever had. Very cute dining atmosphere, warm, quiet and comfortable.

Really cute place with a nice vibe! Cosy and warm inside with friendly staff. I ordered the guacamole and chips and they kindly added some salsa for me to try! The food was a decent size and found it filling.

What a fun place for a relaxing dinner with nice vibes. I think we could have happily had a third round of margaritas (with or without mezcal) but after slightly over ordering delicious food, we called it a night. We’d happily stop here again whenever we’re in Queenstown!

I wish we had time to come back and eat, however we dropped in, with no booking, on New Years Eve for a quick drink and were very much welcomed to sit at a table for 45 minutes before the table needed to be reserved. Appreciate that!

They have amazing vegan options, the cashew cream on top of nachos is incredible! So rich and creamy. We had their tacos and cauliflower as well, both are delicious. Vibe is fantastic and food was served in a short waiting time. Highly recommend for vegan and Mexican food lovers!

Many vegan items available! They have happy hour daily from 4-6pm. Service was great and portion sizes were quite large! I would not order the Hippie Nachos again. The nachos tasted sweet rather than savory – I think the sweetness came from the cashew queso. The nacho chips were a bit thick, oily and overly crispy. The salsa was fine.
