Everything was fantastic. We were able to get right in the door and the food came out fast. We ordered Calamari and Deer Ears as our appetizers. They were both fantastic. For our dinner we ordered Sullivan’s Burgers and a Turkey Club, which were fantastic as well. Our server Kelly was very fast and friendly.

Well, I was slightly disappointed that the menu remained the same with the name change, the old favorites are there though and they were good. I got the chicken sandwich and my wife got the shepherds pie. My chicken was a little more cooked than I prefer but not what I would consider dry. My wife’s shepherds pie the beef was a little dry as well. My tater tots were perfect and my wife’s rolls were very good. Our server was friendly and prompt. It was a busy Saturday night and we had no wait for seating and the food came out in a realistic amount of time. The men’s bathroom needs some repairs.

The lunch menu features a “smash” burger & fries for $10. It’s a frozen pattie cooked on the flattop grill, not a true smash burger. Very disappointed.

Had a family dinner here last night. We have been going here for years. Food’s usually good, so last night I ordered a beer, took my first drink and got a bunch of glass in my mouth. I’m pretty sure I swallowed some but so far I’m ok. I get that it can happen but the waitress was kinda dismissive about it and didn’t let me talk to the manager. I’m a Chef at a local restaurant and if that had happened at our restaurant we would have definitely comped the bill and gave a gift card. Horrible service. I will not be returning unless they make it right.

The Bangers and Mash was AHHHH-mazing! The giant pretzel did not disappoint… and they still have the dill dip from the Hunt Club days – Yay!

The food was not even adequate in taste or presentation. Certainly not as described in the menu. Substandard for this restaurant than in was under it’s previous name. Most of the food was barely warm. Service was extremely slow, and not attentive. The place was not busy at all at lunch time. The temperature in the building was extremely cold, needed to wear our coats indoors, and heard that other people recently had to wear their hats and gloves inside. The supreme grilled cheese sandwich was anything but supreme. Supposed to have 3 cheeses, had one slice of thin cheese, once piece of bacon, one tomato. Totally tasteless. The small portion of french fries tasted ok. The wiley potato was far below the great thing it was in the past years. Soup arrived cold. The smashed burger tasted only like an unseasoned over done cheap burger. Will never go back. I do not recommend this place.

Went here right after the switch from Hunt Club and was pleased. Went again and 2 of the 3 beers ordered at our table from keg were old and stale. The waitress didn’t seem surprised by us telling her that. The appetizers were really good but the rest of the food was average at best. Very disappointing compared to what it used to be.

Our waitress, Jen, was great! Very friendly, attentive and on top of it! The atmosphere wasn’t terrible.

The food though….. Terrible. Flavorless. We ordered the prime rib, which was dry and flavorless, which is unfortunate coming from West Texas BBQ. We had the steak bites for an appetizer and those were tough and overcooked. I had the bangers and mash…. It wasn’t anything to write home about. Overall for $91 it was very disappointing and I’m sure we won’t be back.

I guess I expected more after all the hype over the new owners. The menu for “Brunch” was definitely not brunch. A few breakfast items and a few lunch items does not constitute “Brunch “. I couldn’t find anything that appealed to me of the dozen or so options, but my husband decided to try the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were crushed, very little gravy, half the biscuit mess was dry. Taste was lackluster and sausage was almost non-existent. We decided to cut our losses and leave. Politely told our server and she politely informed us they were still “working on it”. She did not offer to remove the item from our bill. I did politely let the manager know and she did remove the item, charging us only for our drinks and tax. She then informed us that she has “talked to them” (whoever them is) about the quality of the biscuits and gravy several times. We tipped our server, as the poor quality and selection are not her fault, and left. We won’t be back. Kind of sad. We liked the Hunt Club and although this is a new establishment with new owners, we had hoped for the same quality, at the very least.
