I heard that most places are “Dives” that’s the best place for local food.
This is one of those places, the food was hot and delicious.
The staff was very helpful and polite.
The seating isn’t the most comfortable, You can choose between a seat at the counter or a table.
The parking, let’s just say….. Extremely tight fitting and don’t open your vehicle door all the way because you’ll definitely damage the vehicle next to you.
Prices were reasonable for what you order and the menu is on a small board.
It’s worth checking out this place.

I hadn’t been to Hickie’s in 20 years! I was so happy to taste nothing had changed!
The burgers were tender, juicy, fresh. Fries and gravy that can only be had on this side of Ohio. Cincinnati style poutine just doesn’t cut it. My first time trying fries and gravy was my first year of college from Hickies.
Not many can rave about bean soup but at Hickie’s, you can. Homemade, yum!
Always busy, we did have to wait quite a bit for our food, and our server wasn’t incredibly attentive. However, this crew worked together wonderfully. I was so impressed by this. So many girls, busy, in a small area, all trying to work can get hectic. They were all helping each other out. Several servers came to refill our drinks, deliver our food, offer a smile.
Prices cannot be beat. So many came for carry out while dining in. There is a reason this is such a staple in the area!

Always love when we get a chance to enjoy hickies.. I love that my children are getting the same experience that I had at their age. There’s not many places left where I can say that.

They’ve been doing it since 1975 for a reason! Quaint and quirky local diner. There just aren’t enough places like this around anymore.
Stopped by at lunch time on a Saturday while our riding with friends. Hickies doesn’t disappoint. Not my first time, won’t be my last!
2 Double cheeseburger sliders with onion and mustard. Side of perfectly cooked fries and a drink. Sat at the counter, great service and oh, the burgers! Flavorful, juicy and cooked just right! All that for $13! I’ll take it.

We visited 8 years ago and had to stop by again! The place was very busy but worth the wait. The burgers are next to none. We will be back the next time we’re close!

Fantastic little burger joint! Warm and friendly staff. Quick service. Quick with the refills. Place is decorated with lots of local high school memorabilia and photos. Basic hamburger joint menu with lots of local twists. For instance on your foot long chili dog you can have traditional chili with beans or a local favorite of hot dog sauce which is a refinement of chili without beans, I recommend trying the sauce! Another local favorite is soup beans, just like my grandmother used to make. Also try some gravy on your fries!
