My cousin and I had an amazing dining experience today at J. Alexander’s, thanks to Ms. Miranda! This was actually my cousin’s first time visiting, and she truly made it memorable for us. Ms. Miranda was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and recommended the steak along with a wine pairing. Both were absolutely amazing. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and warm personality made our experience even better. Thank you, Ms. Miranda, for providing such excellent service. We will definitely be back!

A nice restaurant. The food was good. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We visited on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn’t very busy, a few people at the bar. Kind of an upscale restaurant. I felt a bit underdressed, but welcomed.

First off I would like to thank the amazing and wonderful manager Dawndria for going above and beyond. She was super sweet and kind to me and my friend. Because of her I will 100% be back when I’m in the area.
As for the food the burgers was cooked the way I asked, the bacon was really good, but the Mac n cheese wasn’t my favorite. It’s just not type of cheese blend that I like, besides that it was good.
The server kept up with our drinks, was super nice. It was an overall great experience. Would definitely recommend

Ordered takeout from here. Unfortunately, I did not receive one of my items I was charged for, which was a $14 salad. All of the prices here seem a little high for what you get. While I can’t speak for the salad, the chicken platter clocks in at $24 for a four tenders, fries and slaw. The quality is fine, and they give a decent amount of fries. The cheeseburger ($19) we got was a good size, but interestingly was very dry. The chicken sandwich ($17) did get good reviews. And yes, they do charge a package fee for takeout, which was almost $5. I didn’t notice that until later. Clearly I should have paid closer attention to my bill and what I was given.
Next time I might try other places in the area, or venture to another spot for better options. All in all, not a bad place, but maybe they were just having an off night as we all can sometimes.

I actually did not dine, but my teenage son and his date did. Maybe a week ago or so. Anyway, he came home ranting and raving about his server -Ms Miranda and how nice and helpful she was. We were told that she helped them with dinner selections, drink choices, and even conversation starters. Lol. He was so excited about the date and said that he couldn’t wait to go back. Thanks for treating my son to an awesome time. Good job guys

We’ve always enjoyed great service here, but tonight fell well below expectations. Ethan, our server, was pleasant, but he barely checked on us, and only after prompting. We had no drink refills, no appetizer plates, no drink napkins.. We ended up having to flag down another server twice just to get basic items. At a $100+ price point, the service should be significantly better.

Chose to come here to escape the heat and enjoy a late lunch. We both settled on their Thai Kai salad with thin slices of delicate chicken breast, peanut sauce, fresh shredded lettuce and a light vinaigrette dressing! It really hit the spot! Delicious, satisfying and most of all refreshing. Great service in a beautiful charming restaurant with comfortable seating! We had a wonderful time, left relaxed and reenergized! Thanks to all the friendly employees and the service they offer to their customers!

The food was great. Cooked perfectly. Service was great, kinda slow but they were busy so I totally understand. They made sure that we had anything that we wanted to go with our meal. Really enjoyed it. I’ve been to multiple locations (Atlanta, Alabama, Tennessee etc) the food is consistent. Well done. Only thing could make the atmosphere better is that the tables are close together. While dining I could feel stomaches and backsides sliding past behind me head while I was sitting. It creates a distraction from dining.

If you have never been to J Alexander’s, you have to find one and try it. Be prepared to leave full and have an amazing experience. The wait staff was exceptional, truly exceptional. The portions are large, so come hungry. I had grilled chicken salad, Mr Jack’s chicken plate (substitute the fries for the macaroni and cheese) it’s not your ordinary mac and cheese. I finished it off with a slice of key lime pie. My waitress Jessica told me it was like Heaven on Earth, and she was not wrong. Pricey but so well worth the cost.

My wife and I ordered the prime rib for our main course.
It was very good as usual.
However, my wife ordered the pumpkin pie for desert, BIG MISTAKE.
The pie was awful, literally unpalatable.
It had NO flavor, lacking sweetness, spice and what I assume was no salt.
My wife took 1 bite and could not stand a second.
We pointed it out to Jewel our waitress. She said she’d inform the manager.
Then nothing. 5 minutes later she brought the bill with the $11.00 charge for the pie. Then she asked if we wanted a box for the pie.
It was all I could do to not rant, but I didn’t.
WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
