Fish + Chips + Wine. From day one we have served a daily changing menu of the best locally caught, beer-battered fish with really lovely wine.

Had a fantastic meal at Fish Shop. The food was outstanding from start to finish — the oysters were incredibly fresh, the scallops perfectly seared with a beautiful buttery sauce, and the fish and chips were crisp, light, and full of flavour. Even the small bites were thoughtful and delicious. It’s simple seafood done with real skill. The relaxed atmosphere and warm service made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to return.

This is one of my favorite spots in town for a quick lunch. The space is small, with an open layout and a clean design that gives you a good idea of what the menu is all about. There are no tables—just high stools at the counter and around the room—so I wouldn’t recommend it for large groups. It’s perfect for two people, or four at most.

The best word to describe the menu is simplicity: dishes are mainly dressed with butters and oils, achieving perfection in every bite. The wine list is beautiful, with plenty of white options (as you’d expect from a place that specializes in fish) but also something for every taste. And without a doubt, they serve the best fish and chips in town.

What a cute little place this is! The staff are super friendly and the food was great.

We ordered some oysters, cockles, and fish and chips. We enjoyed all of the food, but the stars of our lunch were the cockles and the fish! Cockles were so plump snd juicy and their catch of the day was Hake. No words for the fish…just absolutely delicious and well cooked. Hands down was my favorite fried fish while in Dublin.

Dare I say… the best fish & chips in Dublin? I picked the haddock, and the fish was just so full.

Wine? Different and with unique flavours.

The place is small, but it creates an intimate experience that I do not think you will get anywhere else in Dublin.

Overall, a very enjoyable meal, with lovely staff members, and will definitely come back!

This is very nice seafood spot in Dublin that offers great quality at a reasonable price. if it is your first time here and you are looking for good fish dishes, I strongly recommend visiting this place. Even if there are other good seafood places around, the most of them are a bit more expensive than this one.

I went for grilled john dory, and it was excellent. The flesh was tender and juicy, and the olive oil and herbs beautifully enhanced the flavor.

FYI, if you are planning to come with a group, you should make a reservation in advance. Even if you are dining solo, booking ahead is recommended.

The “Fish n Chips” gem of Ireland. Tried multiple different places while in Ireland and this by far had the best fish n chips.

Lovely hole in the wall type of restaurant. Beautifully decorated, the staff is excellent(and quite funny), with a multitude of wines to pair with your dinner.

You’ll need a reservation (unless you get super lucky and they have an opening!)

Loved the place, truly marvelous!

The food we had was extremely delicious. We came across the restaurant coincidentally because our hotel was nearby. Luckily! We ordered an extra garlic mayonnaise which was also the best one I‘ve ever had.

We took the food to our hotel because the restaurant is very very small without normal tables. Though, they used their available space very well.

I definitely recommend.

Delicious! Went there for dinner, and my husband got the fish and chips (which he loved). We shared the calamari and grilled fish and ended with lemon posset for dessert. Everything was tasty. The service was also fantastic, so friendly and kind. Would 100% recommend! We recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy when we arrived.

Always wanted to try here, it’s a step up from the usual fast food fish shops. It’s quite a small restaurant with a handful of high chairs around a bar. It’s very cosy, nearly too cosy no space between patrons. It’s really only a restaurant for single dinners. I don’t know how couples would enjoy dinning in this style of restaurant. Anyway that kind of atmosphere was unusual to say the least. The food however was so tasty. The crab toast as a starter was delicious and the main event fish-hake and chips was great! No mushy peas unfortunately. The lemon posset for dessert was mediocre. It’s quite a simple dessert to prepare. The pulp of passionfruit with it was okay. I wouldn’t have put it together. The shortbread was good with it. Very few non-alcohol options. Only a ginger beer and another option something else that I can’t remember. I had the ginger beer but a non alcohol wine would have been preferred. Good value for eating, not too pricey more enjoyable than an average fast food take away. Easy and accessible whilst in the city centre.

Delicious fish and chips. Quick, friendly service – seriously our food came out so fast!

Two words: MAKE RESERVATIONS. We saw so many people get turned away because they didn’t have a reservation (also, no takeaway!) This place is SMALL so they can only seat/serve something like 15 people at a time so make that reservation or you’ll most likely miss out
