What a beautiful environment! Not only is the food really good and very fresh, but the owners are also kind and welcoming. You can feel that warmth in the way the regulars greet everyone and, in my case, welcomed me as a first-time customer. This time I had a vegetarian dish (plantains, rice, and beans, tostones, salad), it was very good!

Delicious food. Love the appetizer sample platter… we were able to try them all and find our favorite (the empanada). We both had the Cuban sandwich since that is what we were searching for when this place came up. We both loved it. The pork was so full of delicious flavor. The restaurant was rather small and bland but they made up for that in serving great food!!! We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful friendly & welcoming staff. Great value and nice big portions. We split:
– roast pork tostones (5/5 stars, loved the cilantro lime sauce)
– ropa vieja (5/5 stars, very flavorful)

I had driven by this spot several times while in St. Paul and was drawn to the colorful umbrellas on the patio. It looks so festive. We popped in for lunch and I’m so glad we did. The service was friendly and helpful. You order at the counter, find a seat and they bring it to you. There’s seating inside and on both the front and back patios. We split the Cuban sandwich, which was delectable, the Plantains and the Loaded Tostones. They served it all with 3 sauces, one being a spicy creation made by their mom. So good. Highly recommend. We had so much to take home so go hungry.

I tried this a couple months ago. I’ve had a Cubano a few times in my life but never a Dominicano… so I wanted to try it.
It was a bit smaller than I anticipated. It wasn’t quite as loaded as torta sandwiches I’ve gotten at other places (the meat itself was kind of small). It tasted okay. It wasn’t super quick.
There’s a decent amount of seating (indoor & outdoor). There isn’t a parking lot, so it’s street parking dependent.
I think it was around $16 including tax.

Everything we tried was delicious! The sandwiches, the chicken, the pork, the fish- everything was yummy, tender, and fresh. We had a little bit of almost everything and there was nothing we didn’t love. The ambiance is also amazing and even though there was only one waitress she was amazing! Super nice and super quick! We will definitely be dropping by again! Thank you for the great food!

Went during the lunch hour..arrived right before it got busy but no matter what this food is worth it! This arguably is some of the best food I have had in the city. Literally everything we had was delicious. Lastly, they have plenty of seating including seating outside.

Delicious food. We were supposed to go somewhere else for dinner but decided to come here after driving by it.
The restaurant was busy with take out orders, but the staff was pretty friendly and courteous, the food was delicious and still came up quickly. Good Latin music in the background at the right volume making it possible for us to enjoy it while still being able to have a conversation. Restaurant was clean and quiet and it seemed to have regular patrons which is also a great sign. My 5 yr old also enjoyed it.

I got the Camarones con Crema de Coco dish and it comes with a side salad and some plantains. The portion size was big and the food was so so yummy!! The staff were so friendly. Bring a friend or your family it’s so worth it!
