Checked out Front Row Restaurant in Exeter, NH for a few pours of some New England goodness & a fat double cheeseburger. I had this place suggested to me from a follower on a post a few months ago & was looking for something new to check out semi close to my apartment so it was the perfect time to go. Established twenty-seven years ago in 1999 they seem to have been a popular staple in the seacoast area for awhile now. Exeter is packed with great pubs, restaurants, breweries, taverns & more so being able to standout in a stacked city with all those options isn’t easy. The pizza seemed to be the big gimmick, but like the creature of habit I am, scooped a burger. The craft beer list definitely stood out here, it wasn’t the most diverse or complex, although it was better than expected. I was able to find a couple new beers I hadn’t tried & finished the visit off with one of my favorite brown ales I’ve had over the years so let’s get to it. ☘

I started off with a couple beers from Trillium Brewing Company I hadn’t tried yet & like usual I wasn’t let down. The first pour I got was the LET THE CHIP DROP IPA, it was a collaboration with Monkish Brewing Co. out of California. This was good with a ton of citrus, especially grapefruit being very prominent. The second Trillium pour was my favorite of the two. The HEADROOM (2025) DIPA was everything I expected from a haze bomb, it was super hoppy, juicy & had the perfect balance of bitterness. My last pour was the DOUBLE PIG’S EAR Brown Ale from Woodstock Inn Brewery, this is one of my favorite dark beers made in New Hampshire & is always delicious on tap. ☘

I grabbed the Cheeseburger Special, which was a 6oz angus beef patty with American cheese on a brioche bun. Like the fatass I am I added a second angus burger, extra cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles & onions. This thing ended up being much larger than I expected, but I soldiered through it, forging my way through the meat sweats & finished it. I took a nice long three hour nap when I got home to allow my body to recover & catch up after all the trauma I put it through. There was all the usual seating options here including tables, hightops & a decent sized bar. The service was excellent & the prices weren’t too crazy for the beers & food. I’ll probably make a sidequest here again before years end to try the pies & check out the beer again since I’m just down the street, cheers! ☘ ✌♥️

BURGERGASM RATING – 79/80 ☘✌♥️

Front Row has never left me disappointed. The food, service, and atmosphere have checked all of the boxes. The bar area is always lively during game days, but on our most recent visit, it was quieter and easier to talk.

They have THEE best buffalo chicken pizza! The portion sizes are gigantic for the price you pay. The cheese, crust, and toppings were all cooked to perfection. We shared a couple of drinks – the Peach Mango Martini and the Spicy Cucumber Margarita; they were very strong and tasty. Overall, our bill came out to a little under $50 – cheap in comparison to other restaurants in the area.

Great food! Excellent service!!!! Friendly environment! Highly recommend you stop in. Chelsea was an exceptional server, which we all know is rare in today’s dining environment, I had the steak sandwich, very good, highly recommend, and Chelsea also brought me a grilled chicken salad, the chicken was exquisite. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. You should definitely stop in if you’re looking for a surprisingly pleasant dining experience from start to finish. On a side note, pricing is reasonable. I’ve paid much more for a not as good dining experience.

This review is for take-out only. The pizza at Front Row never disappoints. My family’s favorite one is the meat lovers. It’s PACKED with meat. The chicken tenders are also really good. They are juicy, crispy, and appear to be hand made. This last time, we got Buffalo wings in addition to our regular order. The sauce on the wings was great. However, the wings had breading that was mushy.

Food here is excellent. Our go to place. Alfredo is excellent. Finally pastrami that is tender and no fat. Great portion sizes and little pricey but worth it. All these other places went up in price and the portion and products went down. This place went up in price but the portion size and quality are up also. Staff is professional and friendly. Usually go once to twice a week.

Little bit of a wait for my take out order, but was a good sub. Chicken parm, and they were super busy. So I understand the wait. Edit* 3 years later I was just back in the area for work again. Remembered the great sub so went back. This time I had some time to go in and enjoy. Really nice place. My waitress was super friendly and the steak tip sub I had was absolutely delicious.

What’s to say that hasn’t been said?

From the service, to the cleanliness, to the downright excellent for. This place has to be on your radar.

Extremely fair prices also.

To all those complaining about the noise… sports bar is in its name. And you know how people get about sports.

Wish they had keno, but it doesn’t take away from the experience.

Highly recomend their giant calzones and the vodka cabonara.

Can’t wait to go back!
