Planned a date night here after receiving 80$ bday coupon, on the way I started reading reviews and almost didn’t go, it was our first time at a private table , I can say the food was a lil serving but amazing , scallops cooked perfect. It was a Wednesday, not busy highly recommended. I’m looking forward to more coupons to go again

It is absolutely ridiculous the portion size and what is advertised versus what you get. The website is very misleading and a “feeds 4” is no bigger than the size of a chipotle bowl. This is not clear on the website and the manager was not helpful either. We had to wait so long to get the order, only to be severely disappointed in the portion size. It’s actually quite unbelievable. I do not think this is fair to the customer, nor would I eat here again.
And yes, the picture included below is supposed to feed FOUR people. Just as an FYI for everyone.

Please avoid at all costs. It’s 3.6 for a reason and will likely shut down if it stays this way. A new management is needed. Service and communication are extremely poor. Food is about average with exorbitant prices. Expect hidden charges, slow, and missed up orders. I have never seen a Hibachi place being operated in such way.

My mom and I visited last week to celebrate her birthday. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server was Cartier, who is funny. He was attentive and fixed an issue we had immediately and without discussion. Our Chef was Mafta (?). The food was delicious!! The manager, Charmaine, checked on our table to make sure everything was ok. She was present and speaking to diners and staff without being annoying. We appreciated that. Everyone there was really friendly – I talked to several people at the bar while waiting for drinks to be made. The bartender was nice too. My mom and I had such a great time that we’ll be back soon! (Also, apologies for any misspelled/incorrect names.)

Food was very mediocre. For the price and proportions you are better off going to a different hibachi restaurant. I was not impressed with this place at all, and unfortunately won’t be coming back. The chef was unorganized and gave everyone at the table an uneven amount of food. I got the trio meal which was included shrimp, chicken, and steak, and i got 3 peices of shrimp with a very small amount of chicken and steak. My fiancé got the same meal, and tell me why the chef gives him 6 pieces of shrimp and double the chicken? I also asked for well done steak, and the chef proceeds to give me medium rare. Anyways, just do yourself a favor and go to a different hibachi restaurant— better prices and bigger portions. I knew i should have read the reviews for this place before coming here. This place is truly disorganized and unprofessional that it makes you feel bad for them. I hope they fix their ways and make changes, because I want them to succeed in more business and have better reviews.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Benihana and will not be returning.

We made reservations for 4:15pm, yet a chef didn’t come to our table until 6:30pm, over two hours later. That alone set the tone for the night. When the chef finally arrived, we reminded him about a gluten allergy and requested gluten-free vegetarian food. Instead, he cross-contaminated the food with non-gluten items. When we pointed it out, his response was, “I didn’t know it was that serious.” Then saying he’d have to go cook it in the back, showing a complete lack of concern for food safety.

Our waiter later told the chef he was supposed to cook the gluten-free portion first, but the chef clearly didn’t care. After waiting nearly three hours total, my wife understandably said she didn’t want anything anymore. The chef responded sarcastically, “see she said it’s fine.” Completely unprofessional.

We asked to speak to the manager, Kevin, who avoided our table for about 30 minutes. When he did appear, instead of addressing our concerns, he proceeded to yell at a young couple seated with us who were also frustrated with the excessive wait and poor service.

Between the unsafe food handling, disrespectful staff, and outrageous wait time, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We strongly recommend avoiding this location.

Don’t go here! We tried to be understanding from the very beginning when we saw some things that were a little off. But as the manager keeps responding to these reviews to work it out, the manager was there and things were not being worked out. Listen to the other reviews. $93.00 two people We did not see our server until the very end when he gave us a check. We had a very helpful, hardworking server come and help us when he was absent as well as a few other workers. Our chef was newer… Very disorganized, there are a few stars that shine there. The ship is sinking and they need to jump off soon. This was supposed to be a celebration for our big birthdays… At least it gave us an adventure/ story to tell. It’s really sad because it’s a lot of money and hard work that went into paying for this experience.

I have never experienced a dining experience like this. By that I mean an experience that poor.

TLDR. Almost starved waiting on the chef.

We had a reservation.

They sat us at a table. Should have known then that the time it took to get a 17 dollar glass of wine was an issue. There were 3 other guests at the table.

The orders were taken.

The small 20 dollar plate of calamari came out. It was alright. Soup was alright. Salad was soaked in ginger dressing.

We had the reservation at 630. 630. Took 20 min to take our orders-did not even have Broccoli btw- we sat at the table patently waiting until 830 when we realized that the waiter still hasn’t even come back.

The waitress never came and evaluated the situation. She was unable to detect the building frustration in the group.

Then the heat of 1000 hibachi grills started to impact everyone. It was so hot that everyone started sweating.

Management never came over to help evaluate the situation. Zero sense of what was happening. An easy conversation about their progress towards the commitment of feeding 5 high valued guests.

After 2.5 hours of sitting there, the hibachi experience never commenced. Un real to be honest.

So we left. The establishment had the nerve to attempt to charge for all the services.

The highlight of the trip was watching the table next to us eat the cake they brought with them.

The other guests also left with us.

We had such a disappointing experience at this location that we ended up walking out.

When we arrived, we waited about five minutes for a host to come to the podium to seat us. While we were standing there, a server and the host began arguing in front of guests about rotation. It immediately set an uncomfortable tone and felt unprofessional.

After being seated, it took about ten minutes just to receive our drinks. One guest at our table had something floating in their drink, so it had to be replaced, which caused further delays. Our soups arrived lukewarm, and they brought one less than needed because they had run out — meaning another guest had to wait even longer.

The overall service felt very disorganized. From the long wait times for drinks and appetizers to the confusion among the kitchen staff, nothing seemed coordinated. The chefs did not appear prepared or confident, which is disappointing considering the expectation that this restaurant is known for skilled hibachi chefs and a well-executed experience.

After waiting and watching the continued delays, my fiancé and I decided to leave and dine elsewhere.

Additionally, the atmosphere at this location did not make the long wait worthwhile. It is located in a basement area of an office building with no windows, which made the environment feel closed off and lacking ambiance.

Overall, we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. We would not recommend this location.

Listen to all the 1 star reviews. They are not exaggerations.

We had a reservation on March 7, 2026 at 6:00 pm for a birthday celebration. We were seated by 6:10 despite it being a bit busy, however, things went downhill quickly from there.

A waiter came over to our table after 20 minutes and said “we’re a bit busy, I’ll be back in 5 minutes”. We did not hear from him again for another hour, despite him walking past our table (and clearly ignoring us) countless times. By 7:20, he finally came to the table to take our orders. We did not have ANY kind of service up until that point. Not even waters set out on the table.

Took another 30 minutes to get the drinks, salads, and soups after that. The chef came shortly after that, and that went smoothly for the most part.

We did not leave until 9:15 despite being sat at 6:10. It was absolutely ridiculous.

The manager never stopped in to check on our table. I heard another patron go up to him and ask for a discount, which he granted, however no discount was offered to our table. You would think they would try to do right by the customer and make a bad experience right but there was no effort. No apology from the manager or wait staff.

We were celebrating a birthday and this was overall a really terrible experience. I have background in the service industry and even if things got busy, you never leave a table completely unattended for that long. Overall, very disappointed in this establishment. Our family has been loyal customers for years here (both in person and takeout) and will not be coming back.
