I am so disappointed I use to love island frydays. The flavor was so off from jerk chicken the pieces were not cut properly the flavor was generic and gave jerky taste the Rasta pasta was terrible no flavor it was one of my favorite sides the cabbage was stringy and no flavor. Guy fiery would be so disappointed if he came back and tried the food truck he made this restaurant a staple in Cincinnati and it is no longer good.

We were just in Cincinnati for the weekend and just googled what’s a good place to eat. This place came up as a place to definitely try. This place delivered on our expectations. We have never had Jamaican food before so we didn’t know what to really expect. It was truly amazing and well worth the wait. The people who work here are awesome and super friendly. I’m so glad we gave this place a try and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Cincinnati.

I really enjoyed the food, while there is no inside dining yet that shouldn’t affect their food taste. Loved the jerk chicken, it’s really good, and it melts of the chicken bones. The sauce that comes with the rice is also good. The beef patty wasn’t my favorite, but it’s still good. I would recommend

As of July 7, 2022 you still can’t dine- in so call ahead. The food was pretty good and they have me a decent amount!!! I had to have my husband finish up my whiting. The Jamaican greens were well seasoned and I loved the pickled vegetables that were put over the fish. I didn’t care for the plantains… it was like they weren’t cooked through all the way. Hubby’s jerck chicken pasta was good even though he said they were skimpy on the chicken. If you’re in the Cincinnati area they’re with giving a try.

The pics doesn’t do justice. The food soooo finger licking good. I got the jerk wings with the jerk pasta. The spice has a kick, but the spice is too pleasant. Ive eaten here about five times. I keep trying and I keep getting mediocre. The food isn’t bad, but it isn’t great. Usually just smothered in some sauce and covered in cheese. Again, its not bad…its just not that great. A lot of options in Clifton, this doesn’t make my short list. Ive been told their wings are really good, Ill try those next.
