This establishment offers an exceptional culinary experience, with a menu that consistently delights the palate. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation of each dish are truly commendable. Furthermore, the attentive and professional service enhances the overall dining experience significantly. While the atmosphere is alright, it is the food and service that truly shine.

Food was not hot enough, almost like they precook the patties and frankfurters set them under heat lamps. Was pretty dry not a place I would go to again. Onion rings the same way and french fries have a lot of small fries mixed in so you don’t really get a small order more like a few fries worth eating ..
Burgers don’t need to be steaming hot but freshly cooked meat patty would be nice.
Not what I would expect from a restaurant. More like fast food.
I understand planning ahead for dinner rush but not precooking my patty.

This place takes me back to my childhood 40 years ago. It’s the same amazing #9 and the same unbeatable onion rings!! Some things change, Johnnies quality in food has NOT!!!

The #9 is my go to and if you have never tried it, please do! The sauce and thick pickles and charcoal broiled meat patty is unbeatable!! Thank you Johnnies for excellent service and fantastic food!!!

I have been going to Johnnie’s for a long time, and I don’t think they are getting better with age. I don’t know if it is just this location, but the last two times I have been, the onion in the onion rings was basically raw, uncooked onion. The burgers were just okay. This time, as a treat, I ordered two pieces of pie for us to share as a family. The chocolate pie was 80% whipped cream. The banana pie was also 80% whipped cream and tasted like vanilla pudding pie. The only banana flavor came from the three slivers of banana on top of the whipped cream. The pie was too expensive to be that bad. I think we have given up on Johnnie’s, at least at this location, for a while.

Definitely a solid choice if you just want a good burger and fries. No frills atmosphere paired with counter service. They don’t have “gourmet” or fancy burgers, just a straight foward American burger made with real meat etc. Not something that came out of the freezer.

The burger was great but I had to tell them exactly what I wanted on my burger. They were going to give me just a burger, melted cheese and the buns or something.

I had to specify “lettuce” “tomatoes” “onions” which, that’s one thing. Whatever, some people prefer it that way.

I get my cheeseburger, and guess what, no mustard or ketchup. They told me it comes with mayo but I don’t think there was any on my burger.

For burger that costs so much money, I sure had to put in extra effort for it. I had to wait in line in the drive thru a SECOND time to get some little cups of mustard and ketchup.

Again, burger tastes good but I am very irritated by the lack of good service.

The employees were super nice & the ranch was good, but thats about it. My burger tasted like I ordered a number 2 from Burger King. Got the Ceaser burger, added tomatoes & wasn’t impressed at all. Salad was soggy & the tomatoes were not ripe at all. The onion rings were overcooked with absolutely no flavor, tasted like fried flour & grease. Bread was also dry. I won’t be back.

Usually the food and service is pretty good. We just got take out and there was a bug in the lettuce. Pretty gross. Definitely need to clean their fruits and vegetables better. Got take out. The service was like than 5 pretty fast, so we’re happy on that part.

Always friendly staff here. A long line around noon on Sundays from the church crowd, but we still like going. The food is great. I suggest the onion rings, extra crispy. I also get the Jr. Cheeseburger because it’s plenty. Their chili cheese fries or frito chili pie are good. Great afternoon stop for an all-American meal.

No other burger like a Johnnie’s burger.
The fries are always fresh and hot.
The frankfurter sandwich is also a fave.
Save room for pie!
Staff very friendly, restaurant and bathrooms were spotless.
Have a large group? Johnnie’s has a private room you can reserve.
