Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, clean, and inviting. The service is friendly, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed, which made the whole experience even better.
The food is incredible! Everything is full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The portions are generous, and the menu has such a great variety that there’s something for everyone, whether you love classic dishes or want to try something new.
This is the kind of place you crave again as soon as you leave. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Chinese food with great service, Wu Wei Din is definitely a must-try. I can’t wait to come back! ✨

So delicious, first time coming and I will be returning. Our appetizers were the crab rangoon and the cucumber salad, both were pretty solid, not too special on both of them. The xiao long baos and the won ton dumplings were super flavorful, especially with the chili oil. It was my first time trying dan dan noodles, unfortunately it wasn’t my cup of ‘noodles’ but they were pretty good, chewy texture and I couldn’t really pinpoint the flavor of the soup. We also got our food very fast, we got all of our food in 10 minutes. Highly recommend this place

I don’t understand why there are so many good reviews. We decided to try it out since it’s listed on Plano top list of great restaurants. Everything we ordered was disappointing. Hot and sour soup: tasted like something from a cheap Chinese restaurant. Potstickers: just ok, not hot and dipping sauce low quality. Crab rangoons were barely warm and just ok with low quality sauce. Reminded me of those duck sauce packets. Kung Pow chicken: very bland, peanuts were not even freshly toasted, just dump on top like they almost forgot to add them. I added a ton of chili oil to give it flavor. Cashew basil shrimp was ok but the flavors were just not quality. Seemed like prepackaged food heated up. Szechwan beef was bland and oddly too sweet. Edamame was terrible, too soft and an ugly color as if they were leftover from before and just reheated, and very bland. Very underwhelming experience. Disappointing. We will never be back

Everything is pretty good. My impression 5 star.
Dumpling — 4 to 5 star depending upon which one. The beef wrap is different, 4 star. Beef noodle soup is 4.5 star, not quite amazing but solid. I didn’t try any bubble tea so no grade. The fried fish in black bean sauce is 4 star but still very solid. Tofu with 1000 year old egg? Very Chinese so 4 star. For the 10 of us we spent $26/person.

We tried a variety of dishes at Wu Wei Din and had a great experience overall! The Beef Pancake Roll was my favorite—so flavorful and satisfying. The fried rice was a bit bland and the drinks were weak, but everything else was tasty and well-prepared. Check my photos to see everything we ordered! Definitely worth checking out in Plano.

The taste and quality of this restaurant is on par with other top tier Taiwan/Shanghainese restaurants. The soup dumplings are juicy with a thin skin, the beef rolls skin is crunchy but the cut of the cucumbers are too thick. The dough of the fried buns top is soft and the bottom is crunchy.

There’s a new restaurant in Plano that’s definitely worth trying. It has a great location with a nice patio, comfortable high chairs and booths, and a clean, well-decorated interior. The lighting is just right, and there’s even a bar area.
The staff are polite, though most of the waiters speak only a little English. A lady at the reception greets you warmly, and a waiter escorts you to your table with a large menu full of delicious options.
They specialize in Chinese cuisine and have xiao long bao (soup dumplings)! I ordered the truffle and pork xiao long bao—preparing it takes a bit longer, but it’s worth the wait. You get six pieces, perfect for one or two people if you’re ordering other dishes too.

This Asian restaurant is one of my best choices in DFW Area, restaurant is clean and well decorated. Only thing is not convenient for customers have to climb in to the booth seating in few seating booths. Food is excellent, service is great . We were there on Friday night, it was like 25 minutes waiting. But it was worth it . Make sure you try the soup dumplings.
Both my wife and I enjoyed the visit.
Will come back soon!!!

Absolutely fantastic Taiwanese cuisine! Wu Wei Din is easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Plano. The Xiao Long Bao (Soup Dumplings) are a must-try—delicate, flavorful, and filled with perfect hot broth. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup is incredibly rich and comforting, and the Spicy Wontons have just the right amount of kick. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. Great atmosphere and attentive service, too. Highly recommend coming here for an amazing meal!

Got here around 5:30pm and beat the crowd! Started out with a few apps, then moved to fried rice and soup dumplings then ended the meal with a nice pot of jasmine tea. Service was excellent.
