Walking in on a Sunday afternoon… the smell was amazing! The food was impecable! The rice was so much like abuelas! We were so impressed by the food. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The bathrooms is spotless! The staff was so friendly and our service was fast and we had everything we needed. We are so excited that we stopped in and had such a nice experience. We really found our new favorite place. We scrapped our plates clean and anything left over went into a to go box along with two more orders of rice we ordered for home. They also gave us more chips and salsa on the house to go home as well. Thank you for such a great experience today! Top notch food! Awesome prices! Huge portions! Delicious! Such a huge variety of meals. Delicious lemonade!! Roasted jalapeños we so yummy!!!

Good food and fantastic service, but they’ve recently updated their menu. I asked about adding some beans and rice to my nachos and offered to pay an upcharge. They said it would cost $9 (the entire meal is $12). Explained that I don’t want a whole extra plate of beans and rice – just a little added to my nachos. They insisted that they can only do it for $9. The food is good but the pricing update is unreasonable. I’ll likely look for Mexican food somewhere else now – vegetarians really like beans and rice and neither is a particularly expensive food, so $9 is crazy, even for a whole plate of them. Hope they reconsider.
Additionally, they now charge $5.50 for seconds on chips and you don’t get any unless you order over $20 of food (so if you come alone, and order a single menu item, you don’t get chips). Watch out for the automatic gratuity!

We stopped at Los Amigos in Mt. Pleasant on a Saturday evening around 7pm for dinner. The open sign was lit, but there was only one car in the parking lot, so we were concerned that maybe there was a problem with the food or service and people didn’t want to eat there…. Not the case at all though. We were promptly seated, the service was great, and the food was excellent!
Their prices are pretty much standard. The portion size of my fajita nachos was on the small size for a dinner portion, but again the quality made up for the size. The restaurant is a little off the main road, but easy enough to spot.
One minor complaint I did have was that they were sweeping and mopping the dining room floor while we were eating. They kept their distance, but the smell of bleach was a little off putting as we were trying to eat. Also, as we left, the servers both looked at as and kept talking to each other, not acknowledging us as we left. Not big things that would keep us from going back, but enough to not give five stars.

Food was blah… ok but not the best but not horrible or anything either. The entire restraint area is very small. Only about 4 other tables there at same time but it felt crowded because of size. Service was ok not bad it was good but only got checked on 1 so I decided not to get refil by time I was ready to leave. Deco and building looks like it needs a whole new decoration look way out of date.

Stopped in for lunch me and my wife I got traditional tacos corn beef onions cilantro she got a big thing of fajitas with shrimp didn’t take very long the food came out not going to lie the flavor of the meats was delicious what I had a problem with was how they plated the tacos they only give you one shell the meat was so wet that it bled through the shell and it was very hard to even put the taco in your face all over your hands and fell apart instead of being cheap with only giving out one taco shell you should give an extra shell like every other Mexican restaurant in the world does other than the tacos being extremely impossible to eat because they fell apart they tasted really good my wife liked her food and the bill was not bad. When I told the waitress about the tacos falling apart because you only received one show she said well you can purchase extra ones for $1.50 as I’m thinking in my head or you could just build the taco the way you’re supposed to because of the taco falling apart in my hands I probably won’t be back because there’s a lot of Mexican restaurants and they don’t do it wrong.

We rarely try new Mexican restaurants because we like how cook with in the family my sister my daughters and daughter in law are amazing cook Hell even all my brothers and son can cook up a storm. Anyway this place was amazing from the chips and salsa the appetizers was amazing and the combination plate was very good. I myself didn’t like the Pico or the enchiladas. But the lady servers were very nice and we were all in all Very satisfied. As matters of fact before we walked and older gentleman we was walking out and he was giving it 10 still licking his lips lol. He said they definitely have a new customer. So that day they gained 3 new customers. That I know of and my husband called everyone bragging about and he’s the one that’s hates trying new things. So pat yourselves on the back!
