The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is serene, and the staff is wonderful. It was the best last meal before heading back to the USA.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the catch of the day, a seared white fish over vegetables and sweet potatoes, with a raspberry sauce.
The food was so good we came back the next day for lunch. Another amazing server, very friendly and kind. Absolutely recommend Chapeau!
I visited CHAPEAU restaurant in France and really loved the experience! The food was delicious, the decoration was beautifully done, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. I was served by Dida (Rim), who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Highly recommended — an excellent experience from start to finish!
UPDATE: Did in fact return the next night, and had Salade de gambas and Le Burger du CHAPEAU (and the burger was THE best burger I had in France over 2 weeks). Absolute perfect final dinner for our 2 week vacation, and if ever back in Versailles would absolutely be back!!
I thought the onion Soup had a bit too much cheese (it was almost 50% cheese) and the bread we got was kinda old. The rest was all perfect.
+Decoration and interior is nice
-Duck breast was full of tendonds. I couldn’t cut it properly. Service told us with fake smile that it is normal.
-Service behaved like we were some priviliged Karens with obvious fake respect
