Salt Creek Grille surpassed all of my expectations for my daughter‘s bridal shower. All of the servers were very professional, friendly and worked in a timely manner. Barbara Peña is beyond efficient, professional, and always keeps you in the loop. The food was outstanding. We had the river room that had a beautiful river backdrop for the girls to take pictures. I highly recommend this place. Everything was everything I could ask for.

Went there on their last day. After 27 years the doors on Salt Creek closed. It’s really sad as we spent many special events there. The staff was always amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely miss this place.

I had heard rumors that this fine restaurant has been struggling as of late. Rest assured, this is not true. Good food, excellent drinks, EXCEPTIONAL servers like Maddy and her fellow servers worked like precision. Also shout out to the manager who didn’t just stand around like many restaurant managers. He was all around, helping, assisting and managing. Sorry that I didn’t catch his name. I will post picks of some of the food items. I will describe the food items I personally tried in short details; brussel sprouts excellent; lobster good bisque better than most; sourdough bread a bit too much added flavoring and oil, sea bass very good but perhaps a bit less butter; prime rib well seasoned and served as requested but not the select choice I prefer and instead likely prime; wedge salad excellent. Service EXCEPTIONAL. Maddy hustled our table of eleven people like a pro. Servers like her our what make and break restaurants. Let me repeat…you want more Maddies working for you! The staff at Salt Creek Grille in Rumson are the shining star of the establishment. I will be back.

Tonight was our first time here, and man it didn’t disappoint! The warm sourdough loaf was amazing, the fried burrata was delicious, and the asiago garlic waffle fries were simply amazing. That’s the only thing I got a photo of! We will be returning.

Such a wonderful place. First time going and the food and service was amazing. Between valet parking, the hostess that greets you right away and the waitress that checked in with us, its service you literally never see anymore! Add in the mini bottle of champs and it’s a giant win. You won’t be disappointed.

We booked a graduation dinner at Salt Creek this past Thursday and had a wonderful experience. Kim and Carmen did a fabulous job tending to both tables service was A1.
Had a chance to try one of every appetizer (calamari was not available) and can definitely recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp along with the brussel sprouts.
Entrees were abundant, a few of us enjoyed their burgers/sandwiches while I opted for the glazed Salmon and others for the roasted chicken dish which were all very tasty.
Food came quick and hot all at the same time, great presentation.
It was a little bit of a drive over but worth the visit since I have heard of the place before but never had a chance to come out. Definitely would return when in the area; it is a little old school and proper for a younger crowd but nice spot for a quiet or relaxing dinner with family or a date.

Salt Creek Grille does everything well from start to finish. The service is always sharp, the food is excellent, and of course there’s the gorgeous river/sunset view. Full disclosure: my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here 8 years ago, so I’ll always think of it fondly. Regardless, I know I’m going to have a quality experience every time we come here.

Salt Creek Grille offers an exceptional dining experience. Our meal began with the Goat Cheese Marinara, which was absolutely delicious and set a great tone for the evening. For the main course, we enjoyed the Citrus Salmon and Shrimp Pesto Alfredo, both of which were prepared to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced and the ingredients fresh. We concluded our meal with the Butter Cake, a delightful dessert that was the perfect ending to a fantastic dinner. Overall, we highly recommend Salt Creek Grille for its excellent food and wonderful atmosphere.

Nice restaurant. The salmon and the ribs were very good, the lobster soup was a bit too sweet, and the fried calamari was not crispy but kind of soggy. The garlic bread with cheese was good but came a bit late for our dinner.
