So many food options from wood fired pizza to tres agaves bar to gourmet coffee so your entire family or group of friends can all get their fave eats.

My go to is the wood fired pizza which pairs well with a microbrew

Lots of tables, sofa and outside patio seating with heated lamps

Plus lots of big screens high definition TVs with sports channels

And for those who need to do some remote work while enjoying a meal or drink, there’s free WiFi

2 hours Validated parking ️ available; free street parking Sundays and holidays

Perfect ambiance for group gatherings and conversations

Cheers,

San Pedro Square Market is a really cool indoor market with plenty of outdoor seating as well. It’s made up of three different buildings, all packed with a wide variety of food vendors and bars, so there’s truly something for everyone here.

I had to try the Hella Good Burger, and it definitely lived up to the name. The burger was very well seasoned, super juicy, and served on a soft potato bun that was honestly one of the best parts. It was a little messy, but in the best way — overall a really hella good burger.

We also shared a margarita pizza from Pizza Bocca Lupo. The pizza was excellent: the sauce had great flavor and the crust was even better, perfectly cooked with a nice texture.

Overall, this is a fun spot with tons of food options and a great atmosphere. Definitely a place you can come back to multiple times and try something new each visit. I’ll for sure be back to try more.

We stopped into the Playback station in the market place for coffee before heading to Christmas in the park. The coffee shop had a Radio Broadcast theme, and the offered interesting flavors to try. I got the Uber latte it was very good.

San Pedro Square Market has a few food vendors including the bar. It was many people when I got there and is hot here as well. It sits right next to its parking garage where patrons can come by here to eat.

It’s a very nice area where you can dine and hangout. They even have a stage where performers can sing in front of the audience. It seems that many people come to Downtown SJ for this location, because while I was walking around, there’s not that many people until I came to this market.

They even have a water dispenser so that you don’t have to ask for water from any food vendor.

San Pedro Square Market in San Jose is the kind of place that grabs you by the senses the moment you step in and refuses to let go until you leave pleasantly overfed and a little dazzled. It’s a lively crossroads of aromas, colors, and clinking glasses—a pocket-sized festival happening every day of the week.

The variety of food alone feels like someone spun a globe, pointed blindly, and said, “Yeah, let’s serve all of that.” Want tacos? You’ll find tortillas puffing on the griddle and salsas bright enough to wake the sleepiest taste buds. Craving pizza? There’s dough spinning through the air like a mini–Cirque du Soleil performance. Fish and chips? Crispy, golden, and steaming like it came straight out of an English seaside fryer. Indian food? Spices bloom from those stalls—cumin, cardamom, chili—each one whispering promises of comfort and fire. And when you need to cool down, reset, or just enjoy the energy of the place, there’s always a bar waiting with something cold, smooth, or sparkling.

Despite the crowds, seating never feels like a battlefield. There’s ample room to settle in—inside, outside, tucked into corners, or right out in the open where you can people-watch to your heart’s content. Families, couples, tech workers, the pre-show crowd, the post-work crowd—they all blend into one big, cheerful urban hum.

Everything was excellent. San Pedro Square Market isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to graze, wander, sip, and soak in the good life for an hour or an afternoon. A colorful little oasis in downtown San Jose that delivers every time.

It’s a good concept with many choices but the food is mediocre at best! But good beer selection for sure!

The fish and chips are okay. The calamari is terrible, chicken burgers also bad, but hamburger is better!

They even have a band playing on the Wednesday night, that’s impressive but makes regular conversation almost impossible.

Lots seating between indoor and outdoor area. There are gas heaters available at the outside area that you can turn it on at you discretion!

One other good thing is they have vary clean restrooms!

Nice place to visit and hang out while at downtown. Variety of food choices, plenty of seating including outdoors, a bit noisy atmosphere but the vibe is awesome. Parking across the street at the garage .

I’m excited to try the food at San Pedro Square Market in San Jose, CA, which offers a wide variety of options. I recently had a spring roll with fresh vegetables, crispy chicken and shrimp that left me eager for more. My priority is seafood, and I was thrilled by the shellfish combo I tried, which included mussels and clams in a delicious soup. The seafood flavor, combined with herbs and garlic bread, was fantastic! It’s a great spot for delicious, affordable food in a pleasant setting with good music and a fun atmosphere.
