Tonight, I splurged on Applebee’s and a had a steak dinner. The steak and the sides were delivered cold.
How cold you ask? So cold I had to microwave my dinner, knowing I would over cook my steak that I so desperately wanted this evening. It was a sad steak, not the lively bourbon street steak I ordered. No, it was a miserable medium well steak poorly masquerading as the medium rare flavor party I ordered up.
I am so very disappointed. Do better Applebee’s. You are one of the few causal dining chain in town, if you could just give us a solid 80% effort. Pretend to show up, even if its like a checked out parent playing on their phone when the kids talk to them. Pretend you give a crap. Try to fool us.
I don’t need to be wow’d, I just wanted to enjoy a steak this evening. Really I just needed one thing to maybe go right, a small victory, if you will. Just something to not suck today.
Not only did you fail me, you charged me $25 bucks for the pleasure of the disappointment.
Did I mention you disappointed me?
(And no, the delivery driver, Jill, was not to blame. I am 5 minutes from the restaurant and followed her progress on the app. She was very efficient)

Applebee’s made it right. I appreciate the management team reaching out. Round 2 was very much the dining experience I hoped for.
Steak was cooked perfectly and service was top notch.
Upgrading to a 5 star review. Not because the disappointment never happened, but because they cared enough to make it right.

I liked the food a lot. We ate salmon and steamed vegetables. My husband substituted the beef for the creamy mushroom… muah. It was good. The restaurant had never had anyone substitute like that… TRY IT. Service was good… we enjoyed ourselves.

Applebee’s is typically pretty solid for all around good food. Good pricing for what you get also. They have some unique items. The 2 for 25 with an appetizer is appealing and usually what me and the wife will get.
The only reason I leave 4 and not 5 Stars is because sometimes the people that sit you down can be rude sometimes. Maybe a stressful job? But that’s my only complaint really.

Was a good reminder why I haven’t had Applebees in 10 years. Waitress was great, service was not any kind of issue. Even got me a sample of the God awful Alfredo sauce before I wasted money on any of those dishes. Fries were just warm, the mango smoothie and the strawberry swirl were both way too sweet, mozzarella sticks tasted like everything else they fried up in the last month, wings were very very salty. Just overall horrible. Tried to give it a chance since it seems busy often and we were too hungry to drive to mentor but honestly should have gone hungry.

My family and I ordered a takeout order spent 120. Ribs we’re overcooked, Everything else was cold, missing items. I called about missing items.
And to have the ribs be recooked. I ordered a full rack but only received half. Not happy at all. Sorry Applebee’s you lose my attention and business.

I met my now wife on a blind date there. We talked for 3 hrs that night. A few years later I got on one knee at the same place, same table and asked her to marry me . In two weeks it will be our first year married ( 5 25 25) . Always a special place for us and the manager and crew did an outstanding job that night

Food was good. Holden made my steak perfectly! Steven was a great server and the manager Haylee was so friendly. Definitely will be back. I was surprised that a chain restaurant could deliver like this.

The Mozzarella cheese sticks were warm/cold and we asked for fresh hot ones and they got us some fresh hot cheese sticks that were really good.
The Brisket Tocos tasted terrible, I’ve eaten them two other times before and they were delicious.
The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the manager was the one who brought out our food and was super nice otherwise I’d give this establishment 1 star.
