You must come here and eat the fun buns. I don’t care where you live or if it’s your last $20. Please come eat them. I’m adding it to my “last meal” order. Damn I miss them and I just ate them 3 minutes ago. This avocado toast was great, same with the side salad it came with. They kindly put an NFL game on for us, lots of TVs. Come here for the fun buns and maybe put in an application so you can get them at discount and all the time.

Good food and service. Late dinner. We were informed the kitchen would be closing within 15 minutes of our arrival so we quickly ordered. Crispy fish tacos, nachos, quesadilla and a burrito (warning: SPICY SAUCE). The meats were smoked, the seafood was fried to perfection and the drinks were great. Loud & lively atmosphere.

I was recommend by a friend to check this place out. The view and atmosphere was amazing. The staff members were all nice and insightful on what i wanted to eat.
I settle with the fish platter with some fires on the side. I could tell this was fresh and prepared the same day. The price wasnt bad for the quality of food and the service. I highly recommend on coming here

This place is okay, nothing special about it other than the view of the ocean, keep in mind that theres a parking lot in front of before the beach. It may look like beach front on the map but not really. Had breakfast here, chorizo scrambled eggs and cold coffee.

Stopped in yesterday while out on a cruise on the bike. This place is fun, great atmosphere, wonderful looking food and a great beer selection. Sweet views being able to sit at the front by the sidewalk people watching right on the beach. If you’re riding through stop by and grab a bite and a drink. Highly recommend the big cup option over the pint. You’ll thank me later.

One person who has truly stood out, is Abel.
He has been a constant presence in Newport, and every time we walk in, he greets us with the same welcoming, friendly energy that makes you feel taken care of. My kids, who are now in their 20s, have always loved coming here — and as a parent, knowing that someone like Abel is around gives me real peace of mind. He treats everyone with respect, keeps an eye out, and creates an environment where people feel safe.
A few months ago, an incident happened that reminded me just how important it is to have the right people in the right roles. Abel handled everything with professionalism and calm, and it only reinforced what I’ve known for years: Mutts is lucky to have him.
So to the management — good for you for keeping Abel on your team. He’s a genuinely great person and a big part of why we continue to come back after all these years.
Mutts isn’t just a restaurant for us. It’s part of our story. And people like Abel are a big reason why.

A great little beachside restaurant. Food was tasty bar fare. Beer selection is broad. Views of the ocean are great. Kids menu is available. We went for lunch, and I’m assuming it becomes more bar-like in the evening. Bathrooms are very small and the men’s room a tad dirty. Overall great spot!

You are coming here for the infamous schooner’s, a 32oz mug of draft beer, cider, or seltzer. The food is quite good for bar food, but it’s still bar food so burgers, pizza, etc.
Great place to watch a game and enjoy indoor/outdoor environment, people cruising along the boardwalk.
