Authentic Italian food was great! My chicken picatta and sides on my plate were cold but I opted not to send it back. Service was exceptional. You couldn’t have an empty glass or empty dish without anyone of their staff immediately taking care of it. We loved the authentic atmosphere.

I only went to the deli and market, which is open at certain times. Photos have the time. I really enjoyed the classic Italian sandwich I had. It was a sweet atmosphere like a cafe, but it was only to go. Loads of good choices, and I wanna come back. Staff was really friendly even

Friday night & arrived at 6:00 pm. Packed but seated immediately. Sophia our server was attentive and friendly with 2 helpers. They take reservations too. Dinner came with soup or salad, warm rolls and side pasta bowl + meal with vegetables.

Visited Ottavio’s for the first time last Friday and tried the new lunch buffet (11 am to 2 pm Tuesday thru Saturday for $21 per person with no drink) and it was a 10 out of a 10. Excellent service and food including an excellent salad bar, two pizza’s half with different flavors so 4 flavors overall including a cheese since my wife is a vegetarian and pepperoni which was excellent and two hot dishes (penne pasta/marinara with sausage and peppers and cheese ravioli in marinara which my wife loved. The clam chowder soup was the best we have had and very creamy. The homemade round rolls were excellent. Wish the pats of butter were not so cold. The soup and two hot dishes change each day of the week on the buffet.

Everything was great. Service excellent. We unexpectedlyand luckily got there during happy hour and got to enjoy special prices on beer and appetizers. My enjoyed the seabass special and I had usually pasta and sausage platter. I highly recommend this locally owned restaurant!!!

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was just perfect – stylish, warm, and inviting, with a lovely atmosphere that made our evening feel special. Our Waitress Christina, was an absolute gem; truly amazing and a highlight of the night. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate, offering fantastic suggestions. She ensured that we felt welcome and well-cared for. And the food? Extraordinary! Each dish was divine, from the Pizza , The Chicken Parmigiana, and my Baked Ziti was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. If you’re looking for a fantastic meal with exceptional service in a beautiful setting, look no further. We went there on a Thursday night around 7 o’clock, place was packed and awesome. Service was excellent I can’t remember our waiter’s name. I think it was Jose. We had the half-and-half lasagna and ravioli it was so delicious salad bread everything is always a Pleasure. I have been going there for years and I’ve always had a great time excellent service super fun ambience.

Octavio‘s is a great place to get an authentic Italian home-cooked meal. What surprise me the most is I had the macadamia crusted halibut and it was one of the most amazing dishes I’ve ever had unfortunately they don’t have it all the time so we tend to call and ask if they have it before we go.
I’m not a big fish guy, but when it’s good, I love it a great place a must if you’re in Camarillo.

I can only honestly provide a partial review as I’m new to the area and I only ordered a take-out pizza. It was VERY GOOD. I am, however, more accustomed to pizza being cooked until slightly crisp throughout. Maybe that’s just a NYC thing ? I even requested it to be well-done but it was floppy as a newborn. I THINK that’s just the way CA pizza is, however, and you have to finish cooking it at home if you really want it cooked. Not entirely sure. But Ottavios, overall is clearly a step above other pizzerias tried in Camarillo.
