Stopped in for their Sunday live band. The AirChiefs were playing, oldies from the 60s and 70s. The band was lots of fun. The food was really good The Prime Rib BLT was tender and juicy. House fries were perfect. Add a basket of Onion Rings and you have a full meal for 2. The whole atmosphere was great

Grindstone Tap House offers excellent food, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our visit. The only reason I’m docking a star is for the service. It took 10 minutes from the time we sat down to be greeted and have our drink order taken. We visited during Nationals, so I understand they weren’t used to the increased volume. However, it wasn’t extremely busy when we were there, and under no circumstances should it take 10 minutes to be greeted for the first time and have our drink order taken. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for the slow service.

They have a 500° stone pizza oven besides a nice menu with most likely something for everyone. Along with quite a few beers on tap from Great Lakes Brewery and Fat Heads Brewery they also have many other popular brews. The service was really good, we were well taken care of by courteous, friendly staff.

Came here for the first time in well over a decade this past weekend. Totally forgot how big this place is! Tons of room for people! Live bands play here as well. Plenty of drink choices, including a good selection of craft beer. The food I had for my event was buffet style but seemed pretty good and the menu looks impressive as well. Will definitely come back here again! Btw, they have a ginormous brick oven for pizza!

Stumbled in after the car show. Jen was a great server. Everyone liked what they got. The burger, Hot Italian, wings, fish dinner, pretzel. Beware the bowl of Tots. The side of tots will feed a small village lol
We’d go back

Went for brunch. Reg coffee, decaf and iced tea were all weak. Please get a better grade of thise drinks. Ask your servers what they hear. All our group agreed the coffee and iced tea were like drinking water with no flavor. The food was very good and priced well for what you get. I will be back but I hope they buy a better grade of coffee and tea. I hope the owners/manager reads this as I love the place otherwise.

What a gem to find! This place has it all from a super nice owner (matt) to a huge stage for bands and plenty of room to sit. I highly recommend the food. The pizza is one of a kind and the famous hot Italian sub is a must have! I will be back to this spot whenever i an in the neighborhood!

Excellent customer service. I got a salad around 7 pm and the greens and onions were fresh. They are not shy with their blue cheese which is nice. Clientele is friendly. Sometimes they have live music or open mic night which is cool. Lowkey place. Unassuming.

Grindstone tap house has been on my list of places to check out since I first moved to Berea two years ago. For one reason or another, we had never visited.
Tonight, we finally changed that. My wife likes to eat very early so we arrived around 5pm or so. Got seated and settled in and the waitress came over and took our drink order and provided some menus. Having read some reviews a couple of years back, I was excited to try several things on the menu. Ultimately, I ordered a soft pretzel appetizer and the south of the border entree as my main dish.
Pretzel came out quick, was served with a Cajun mustard and a jalapeno queso cheese dipping sauce. The mustard was extremely fascinating. Blend of several flavors that hit your taste buds one after the other. It paired very well with the pretzel. The queso was also quite good, had just a bit of a kick to it but not overwhelming so.
Shortly after finishing up the pretzel, our meals arrived. The south of the border dish, just a mound of tater tots, eggs, cheese, chicken, sour cream was just a sight to behold. The tater tots were seasoned and by themselves were amazing. Combine them with the other parts of the dish and you have an extremely flavorful meal. I was very impressed by it and could barely put a dent in all of the tater tots.
Disappointed we took this long to try it out but will absolutely be coming back to try their pizza (which I was told by a few folks that it is wonderful) and the chicken or steak Philly sub.

Nice and quiet for lunch the day we went. Friendly service. Food presented beautifully! The grilled cheese was unique and delicious and a little extra for the loaded fries was well worth it with a large portion. My husband’s burger was very good with a right off the open flame grill taste and was a very good size. The battered onion rings were great. The reuben rolls made for a great appetizer. Highly recommend this place for a tasty lunch. Just be sure to ask for the full menu if you go at lunch time and you would like to see other options that they can do as long as they aren’t super busy for a special event.
