Stoner’s Pizza was… nothing short of amazing!

I wanted to try something new, and I’m so glad that I stumbled upon Stoner’s Pizza! My pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious, and is arguably the best pizza I’ve had in Columbia! In particular, I loved how they made the crust, as you can see in the attached picture.

The inside of the store was really cool and the staff was very friendly as well.

I also loved how cheap it was; there’s nothing in the world better than great pizza at a reasonable price!

I placed an order for the Lg Pep pizza 10 wings and 2liter of Diet Pepsi. The wings were so burnt the were hard like a lump of charcoal, the pizza was thin crust and barely had any sauce. The Diet Pepsi was the best part of the meal. Don’t get it wrong I have eaten from there before and it was very good. This was just horrible. The customers were nicer than the workers.

Perhaps I went on a slow day but it looked closed initially. The arcade building was a pleasant entrance, looks welcoming. Appeared only one employee was on duty and we were attended promptly. The line was closed and the heating displays were off. It was a bit depressing. It was a Wednesday around 4pm so Im not sure if I chose a bad time to visit or if it always looks this isolated. I’ve had stones from another location and have been impress but this particular day even the pizza was nothing to brag about. The topping was plentiful but the experience was bland.

Staying at the hotel across the street and decided to have some pizza tonight.
Walked over to place a togo order. There was one guy there preparing the pizzas!
My hats are off to him, though. He was taking orders and making pies as fast as he could.
Said mine would be ready in 15 min. And it was! Also tasted great, too. It was the no-brainer deluxe pie, thin crust.

I called Stoners Pizza at 5:30 PM on Saturday, January 31, and was told they were still open for a little while and that I could place my order online. I was only two minutes away. Due to the snow, I understood they might be closing early.

When I walked into the store at 5:40 PM, the gentleman stated they would be closing at 6:00 PM and stared at me without taking my order. He refused to assist me until I insisted and explained who I had just spoken to on the phone.

I still placed my order and even left an $8 tip. Unfortunately, while waiting, I overheard the manager and cashier making negative comments about customers who buy food instead of cooking at home. That behavior was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary.

If a business is open, customers should be served without attitude or judgment. Customers are the reason employees are paid. Because of this experience, I will not be returning.

Lots of people say the service is slow and they can say that but it’s just kind of awkward by my estimation. Only two busy employees means you have to wait a bit, they acknowledged us but were cooking up orders for a little bit. The guy at the counter was friendly.

We did carry out, the atmosphere for dine in was small and open.

The food is good but in a unique way. Hands down the Stromboli were the winners for flavor and quality in our order. You pick your own ingredients and they were stuffed full wrapped in a salty bread. The cheese bread was tasty, each piece having a solid amount of cheese and the bread was doughy but in a satisfying fresh chewy way. We also got a cheese pizza, the true test if any pizza place. Unfortunately it was nothing special, on it’s own it would have been sufficient but compared to the other items it was low on cheese, low on sauce and flavor and the bread (while great on the other two items) was just plain. The cookies are good, they don’t look great but they are.

It could have been better the salad was good. My daughter’s sandwich was ok. The wings were rubbery and the pizza was ok it didn’t taste freshly made. I’ll try again maybe they had busy night.

We came in town for New Years Eve and decided after all the festivities to grab some pizza at Stoners! Cynthia was incredible! She was so attentive and there for anything we needed! The pizza was amazing but THE COOKIES???!! Oh my gosh the absolute best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had! Stoners knocked it out of the park and Cynthia made sure we had the best experience! 10/10!!!

Sad pizza joint, price is great for 3 slices and a drink but they were out of drinks. Not a single fountain drink had syrup apparently. So I paid for the special and got water. Guys in there were not apologetic really and just said they didn’t get their delivery. Pizza was ok, nothing amazing, crust like Papa johns, taken straight from warming display to plate. They could heat it up a little in the oven like done in NY pizzerias. If you want basic pizza for a good price but don’t care about atmosphere or service this is your place.
