Iconic, and should be visited at least once if you are a theater lover. The caricatures are abundant and fun to view. Waiters have been there forever. Cocktails are worth it and the bar upstairs deserves the trip up. They have a classic coat check and old school ambiance. I hadn’t been there in over 20 yrs and it looks exactly the same.
Food is decent, price is on the high side but it’s Sardi’s. We had the beef salad and spinach cannellini. The salad was better, meat was perfect. I wouldn’t reorder the pasta but it was okay.
Chocolate cake looked awesome but none for us. Lunch was definitely an older crowd.

Wow. This place is historic; they’ll get you in and out before your show, which is great, but the positives stop there.

Their prices felt gouged based on the quality. I’m glad they’re located in a convenient place, but even the location doesn’t account for how bad the food is. I’d guarantee our lasagna was reheated, and the onion soup was weirdly sweet. It was all bland, and the bread felt insulting (it tasted like costco bread…no offense costco) just to be served with middle-of-the-road butter. I don’t think this place is worth a stop if you’re a tourist: we literally joked about how a better meal would have been had from Taco Bell for a quarter of the price.

Stop in if you like nostalgia, The Muppets, or whatever; do not expect the food to be worth stopping in for, and expect to feel incensed by the price they’re charging for food that tastes in the bounds of <$10. You do you, but this was a terrible stop on our trip to the "Big Apple." Service is incredible, for what it's worth; that said, and this didn't weigh into my review, their soap in the restroom seemed watered down.

I have been going to Sardi’s since the 70’s. Last night I went back and had dinner. It was delicious. The atmosphere is fun in the bar and the bartenders are very nice. The restaurant is nice, white tablecloths, with the staff constantly checking on you. If you are in the theater district, stop by. You will not be disappointed.

One of the greatest Italian restaurants in nyc hands down. It is a nice dinner out, they always have open tables. The over 1,000 portraits of broadway stars on the wall is amazing. Also a hot spot for celebs who on broadway.

This is all about the history of the place. The food is decent, albeit a limited menu geared up for speed pre-theatre. Swift operation and decent staff. But you’re paying for the unique atmosphere. If you’re not seeing a show, book a table from 7pm when it’s quiet.

A theater tradition! The food is delicious and the service is exeptional.
They know their patrons don’t want to be late for curtain time, so they’ve hired a giant staff to work the room. I have never seen such a high staff-to-diner ratio at a restaurant.
The drinks were strong, the staff attentive and you’ll get to experience some Broadway tradition.

I went there for the first time recently on an impromptu late dinner after a show. It was always on my restaurant bucket list, and I have to say, it surpassed my expectations.
The food was terrific, the staff was particularly wonderful; they sat us in a table that coincidentally had one of my fave actor’s caricatures in front of me. I’m never in Times Sq./ HK but I’m gonna have to come back. Great experience.

Sardi’s server Tassy was wonderful! I highly recommend asking for her. She gave us great selections, let us take our time before ordering and was professional. I am from out of state but have been going since the late 80’s. Service has always been impeccable but this time exceeded expectations. Food was wonderful! Looking forward to our next trip!

Historic spot with a great feel and environment. Excellent food and a wonderful staff. Great backstory to read about on their website. Stop by after hitting a Broadway play.

The food was good and the drinks were as well. We enjoyed ourselves before the Sunset Blvd show. Probably it was a little on the noisier side, but it did quiet down before 7 pm, our show started at 8 so we enjoyed some quiet time too. The waiters changed without any notice which seemed a bit odd.
