Streets of India serves an absolutely delicious South Indian thali with authentic flavors that truly stand out. Being served on a banana leaf makes the experience even more special and gives such a comforting, homely feeling. Every dish tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It really feels like enjoying a traditional home-cooked South Indian meal. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic taste and a soulful dining experience!
Taste is so good especially Kuthu Parota and Biriyani
(Few items could be taken care of better
Just a suggestion, If few items takes more time,if conveyed before, would make us order something else.)
Thank you
We ordered punugulu and it was the best we had so far. So we came the next day to order punugulu and a plain dosa. We had to wait literally 45min for it but it was fine as they just opened. But the punugulu was not hot it was in room temperature. So we gave it back hoping for a hot serving. 10 mins gone by and we asked the waitress she mentioned “They are making it new” so we waited another 5 mins and the dish came. It was still not hot just a little warm and you know what it was the same set of punugulu they served before. I confirmed this as had of picture of the first set. We went and confronted who said this a new batch, and why do we have to wait 15 mins for a reheat? So we cancelled the dish. To mention the dosa, it was cooled down to room temperature before serving. We understand there is only one waitress at the time but the least minimum is we deserve food being served hot.
Food is really good but not the service. Will not be coming back!
Absolutely loved every item on the thali! So many things were new to me but I am amazed by how each item hit a different yet soothing taste. Would highly recommend even if you aren’t a South Indian food lover
Starting from serving on fresh banana leaf, I was pleasantly surprised and reminded of the unlimited meals served on south India
The service was very good with both the owners and people who serve being very kind. It was very good and far exceeded my expectations. It’s a true unlimited meal with refills for everything.
Everything was tasty from the badhusha sweet to the bagara rice to flavored spicy buttermilk, it was very satisfying. Kudos to the team for serving a good meal in the Windsor area.
The staff deserves a special shout-out, they’re genuinely kind and go above and beyond. We accidentally left our toddler’s bottle behind, and they literally ran out into the snow to return it. That says everything.
Highly, highly recommend.
PS: The picture is missing about six items
I couldn’t wait to dig in
Reply: It’s inside the chutney- who will eat knowingly, It’s brought to you and your staff’s notice right away and we had spoken about the order, do not be puzzled as if you never knew it. Accept the unhygienic food and maintain due diligence to not repeat it again.
