This place is a gem and very nostalgic.

Their menu is simple and makes you feel at home.

Staff is very kind, large menu and specials to please even the pickiest eater.

Unfortunately this is the ONLY M.C in the state of Utah which is sad, i remember coming here as a child with my family.

The pies are the best thing, they have every day pies and seasonal pies. Most meals comes with a slice of pie.

Go and enjoy a meal and a pie.

Thank you staff for always being very welcoming.

This place has lots of parking, its right on the corner and across from St Marks hospital you cant miss it!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. We got here from Florida and went here for dinner. It reminded me of a Village Inn style restaurant. The cornbread was super dry…the roast beef sandwich looked like it had seen better days. The potato soup was really good.

The while vibe seems down when you walk in. There were only two other groups there so it was dead..no music or nothing..

Interesting place…

I was worried about coming here based on reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had come here years ago. We came with a group of 7 friends. Had shrimp tacos, fries, and more shrimp, and it was all excellent and served hot and fresh.

And to top it off, I had razelberry pie with vanilla ice cream, yum, yum.

Our group ordered various other items from the menu, and we all enjoyed our meals.

I use to love your beef stroganoff this is the first time I got it to go I live in West Jordan so it is pretty far. It was tasteless and all the steak was tough. I didn’t mind it when I was there eating it because there was really tender steak with a little bit of tough steak. But this was all tuff

Haven’t been to one in 20 years—and now I remember why.
Just take a look at the fruit bowl served with a cold, sour meatloaf sandwich. The place is long overdue for a renovation. The bathrooms are falling apart, and everything feels like it came from a scratch-and-dent sale.

My wife’s pot roast was drowning in a gravy that tasted like solid fat—way too salty to enjoy. As for my meatloaf sandwich, it was cold, and the mayo was so overpowering I couldn’t taste much else. The food i had at the hospital had more flavor

Disappointing all around.

Only saving grave was the pie. 3 on them.

Marie Callender’s is a traditional and wholesome restaurant for couples and families. The lighting in the dining room is fitting for anyone who is there for a peaceful meal whether it’s for a romantic evening with a loved one or to just spend quality time with those close to you, it strikes the perfect balance. There is a cozy fire place in the north west corner for those looking for a backlit romantic dinner. The staff is amazing and very friendly and the food is phenomenal I highly recommend making MC Restaurant a place at the top of your list to share your next meal.

Marie Callender’s had long had a reputation for good food and this one did not disappoint. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The atmosphere was dated, almost nostalgic. I’m sure I’ll eat there again.

We used to have a Marie Callenders in Layton. That got closed down and turned into an Indian restaurant. When I was driving down the street in SLC and saw this one, I stopped immediately and had lunch. Super tasty and just a great feeling when you’re eating there. The ultimate comfort food.

The staff there were excellent. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was a little lackluster. It could use a deep cleaning. The light fixtures and walls were dirty and dated.
