I reached out to IPB 5 days before my wedding!!!! Heather was able to help me pick out a suitable size cake for my party and was patient with me when choosing flavors. On top of that, they were able to recreate the design I envisioned and arranged delivery so quickly directly to my reception!! I cannot thank you enough for your help, Heather!!! The cake was delicious, visually appealing and the raspberry mouse was a hit!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We placed an order online for pick up. The website states they close at 8pm, I rushed from work I got to the bakery at 7:55pm there was a lady at the desk yelling through the glass they were closed I explained it wasn’t 8pm yet she insisted it was I showed her my phone and she said all well. I told her I already placed an order and was just picking up she completely ignored me. As I was walking away her an another lady come to the door she asks what name my order was under I tell her she goes in and comes back and says it wasn’t paid for and she already closed the register there was nothing she could do. The other lady said I should have called I said I did call twice and no one answered and she said “oh I must not of been near the phone” they told me they can close early if they want to. I will absolutely be contacting corporate in the morning and will never use this location again. I work for a big company and we eat here often so they will now miss out on a lot of business because I will for sure tell everyone the way I was treated.

I definitely won’t be coming back. My experience started off with me having to ask several times what flavor was the cake because I just wanted a simple vanilla cake. The lady who first assisted me confirmed it was vanilla. I then asked for Happy Birthday Grandpa to be written in blue writing. The lady who assisted me then gathered around 3 girls who were all contemplating who was going to write on the cake. Another woman stepped up confidently to voluntarily write it in which the woman who first helped me communicated to her that I wanted Grandma written. As I shouted across the now packed bakery (simply there’s space to fit maybe five people because huge tables in the way) that I wanted grandpa, the lady acknowledged my request and took back the cake to be written on. She comes back minutes lady to say they have no blue ICING.

The first woman who assisted me then comes back to me to say now that the cake is half chocolate and vanilla, which is fine but a little bothersome considering I asked several times and stated I wanted vanilla. I wait 10 minutes for 3 words to be written and then be handed this – a gel, all caps, different size letters, crooked mess with random exclamation marks after birthday and random squiggly at the bottom.
I kindly paid and left but I’m highly disappointed to bring this to my grandpa’s birthday lunch.
**update: the cake tasted a few days old. No moisture or freshness to the cake whatsoever**

My friends and I were talking about bakeries and she mentioned that this bakery was still around. I had no idea! My daughter and I went and felt transported to my younger years. The baked goods are still amazing! The pastries are to die for and had the lobster tails and sfogliatelle that I wanted. Delicious!! They even had homemade hot dog rolls! I was like a kid in a candy store! If you want true Italian baked goods, that’s the spot!!

Stopped in for a vanilla cupcake. Their food baked goods are always on point. And they do amazing specialty items.
So today I picked up my birthday cake. I can’t say enough how much I love this store. I went in with an idea and their Baker brought it to life. She did an amazing job. I absolutely love my cake. But folks make sure you give them at least a week on specialty cake orders. MY FOREVER BAKERY!
