I’ve tried to eat here many times, I started frequently visiting in 2020. They had juicy tasty chicken sandwiches that would literally excrete chicken juices as you took a bite. Shame to see how the years has affected this particular location….
The pieces of chicken that have always been mediocre have now shrunken in size by a lot. More bone than there is meat. The chicken sandwiches, once so juicy and flavorful, now a shell of its former self; too much batter, too greasy, not enough meat and never cooked to the moist but crispy perfection they once had it. It feels like ingesting a grease bomb with a strong lack in protein.
This has of course tanked my frequency of visiting Popeyes over the years. I eat here maybe once every 2-4 months or so because i get reeled in by the prices and collabs, only to be sorely disappointed every time.
What happened? I know at some point this location almost exclusively hired children and young adults, not sure whether thats still the case or to blame. But something needs to change here on either a basic food preparation level or a reevaluation on the cutbacks taken so far to maintain prices. The food is lazily prepared, and tastes subpar and cheap.
It used to be good food for a good price. Now it’s low effort, public highschool cafeteria quality food. Price is still decent I guess, but thats it.

I got diarrhea after eating here today. The chicken and fries did not taste fresh at all. I’ve eaten at other Popeyes locations many times and never had this issue before. This place really needs to check their kitchen hygiene and food prep ASAP

The person preparing the order doesn’t even know about it. They never inform them.
Fifteen minutes pass. The person preparing the order then turns to me and asks what I’m waiting for. I explain, they look at the receipt again, and once more I’m told “ couple minutes,” with no progress at all.
I end up leaving the store angrily.
This is a terrible system no one communicates with anyone. It’s an absolute disgrace. You cannot waste people’s time like this.

Probably the worst Popeyes in California. Once I ordered ghost pepper wings in the drive-thru and got regular crispy wings without the ghost pepper rub. Luckily I live 3 miles away, and the worst part is I realized after having 1/12 of the wings I ordered. I got the entire box to the store, and they asked me to give it, and they gave me the ghost pepper wings, but I’ve seen them putting the other wings, which I’ve given back, in the warmer rack. Yuck. And today (11/14/25) I’ve ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches from DoorDash since there was an offer from them and received one spicy and one crispy sandwich.
I think it’s their business model of giving it to the customers, which aren’t fast-moving foods. Too horrible an experience

Ordered a 10 piece family meal special, with custom pieces I had chosen online. Got there to pick up and they asked for my name. I gave it to them and they asked to see my receipt which was not easy to find on the iphone app. Had to search my email (since it’s filed automatically under a folder) for the receipt to prove my order. Then I noticed they had my name already printed on the order box. They said they wanted to confirm what I ordered from my receipt. The order was bagged and sealed so I didn’t check until I got home. Found out that they messed up entirely my order—gave 3 wings when I ordered none. So disappointed with this location. And with Popeyes in general.

Had to wait 15 minutes for the chicken to fry…but they walked the order out to my car when it finished. The biscuits were good…but the coleslaw ended up giving me the shits. Quality is a crap shoot I guess.

Every time we go there they said no breasts are available when I go order at 10 PM after work. One time I told the manager in the morning shift and told we always have breast and they just lazy to cook. Not going back again to this branch.
