El Maguey Mexican Restaurant

Two friends and I just ate here. 2 entrees one margarita and the bill was just over $31 freaking dollars ! Food was delivered fast and hot . ( Not spicy hot temperature wise) It was incredible as was the service. You can’t get this quality of food at a fast food restaurant!!! Highly recommended!!!!

I always like El Maguey for their warm and friendly staffs and fresh chips and salsa as a starter. Today l had burritos, enchilada, and fajitas with salsa verde sauce. Yummy!

The decor in this restaurant is really awesome and the outdoor seating area is one of the best in the entire area!

We arrived around 8:00 on a Friday and it was not super busy- there was no wait but the service took about 25+ minutes before we finally received our food.
The waitress was very kind and gracious and continued to bring his chips and refill our drinks while we waited. Not sure why it took so long because it did not look very crowded.

The menu is enormous. I think it was either 6 or 7 pages long.

The wait staff was very observant when it came to staying on top of our refills, and other needs .
Food came out rather fast.

The food was great ..
My daughter and I split chicken fajitas. The cooking staff did mess up on our fajitas we asked for no onions but still ended up with them.

I still got 4 stars because all other dishes were to perfection. The wait staff was perfect.

My son got shrimp nachos.
He really liked those.

Most of the table ended up getting a form of nachos and they were every enjoyed by all.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen .
Very colorful, the chairs and the walls were caved with 3D images of wildlife, and scenery.
I hope we can come back again one day.

Mz Pretty To You

Went in for lunch. Immediately recognized and seated. Drink and food orders taken and delivered expeditiously. Food was great..(bacon was chewy so ask for it crispy.. I’ll remember when I return, dish was otherwise tasty) The portions were decent and there was plenty left to take home.

When we arrived, they weren’t that packed, and we were seated right away. The patio was open, but we chose to sit inside due to the heat. There were complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa tastes peppery to me, and I didn’t care for it. Everyone was really kind and the environment was quite welcoming. The service was quite fast. The meal was tasty, albeit I didn’t care for the beef burrito. While we were eating, I placed a to-go order, and once again, the speed of service did not disappoint. My to-go meal was also accompanied by complimentary chips and salsa. This was my first visit to this establishment, and I would definitely return in the future.

This was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to, which feels crazy as someone who has lived in Chicago and Texas. The chips were warm and salted nicely. I ordered a Michelada with Modelo, it was perfectly salty and balanced. I also ordered the Quesa Birrias which were insanely affordable and the consommé was spiced so well. I really loved this place.

We enjoyed a great evening at El Maguey, taking advantage of their pleasant outdoor seating. I opted for the combination meal and complemented it with a margarita, both of which were delicious. While I didn’t catch the server’s name, the service she provided was truly outstanding. El Maguey offers a well-rounded dining experience that left us thoroughly satisfied.

I got the steak fajitas and it was tender and delicious. The meat could use more seasoning so I asked for limes and it made a big difference. Surprisingly the bell peppers were still a little crunchy is how I like them. The fajitas meat was cut into very small pieces and I had to work at it to find all of the pieces (please don’t do this in the future). We were greeted nicely when we walked in and was immediately taken to a booth. We had an amazing waiter, Cirilo. He was on top of things through the whole service plus he has a friendly personality and a good sense of humor. The restaurant has an outdoor patio which was full plus a full bar and a colorful indoor dining area. The restaurant is in a strip mall so there’s plenty of parking. If you haven’t been, I’d give them a try.

First timers.. met family members from around the area. Got seated quickly. We were waiting for one of the group to show up. So we just ordered drinks. Server got drinks quick. Late comer in the group was later then we anticipated, so we ordered more drinks. Server was working with us. Very easy going.
We finally ordered. Everybody got what they ordered, food was hot and delicious. Will be back to try other dishes.
