This is a good place to go eat on a budget for sure. All you can eat for $8 is hard to beat anywhere. They make sure to keep hot and fresh pizzas on the bar. Don’t forget the amazing dessert pizzas or fresh cinnamon rolls while your there!!!

Pizza inn is a nice little spot in the town of waycross, GA. The food is not great but it is amazing for the price point. Super friendly and attentive patrons all around. What really got me to write this review was a server by the name of Melynda S. Super attentive, friendly and just the hardest working person there as far as I could see, not to put anyone down, just saying she can do it all. Cashing customers out, taking orders, bringing drinks to the table while wiping tables, sweeping mopping. Literally a super woman. Granted it wasn’t super busy but still plenty of work for a single person. My respects to her and her hard work. I hope they realize what a gem they have working for the pizza inn. And may she never change. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back with the rest of our family. Have a blessed one pizza in and dont lose Melynda or you’ll lose me as a customer! =D

Pizza is very good. The crust is crispy when I ordered the NY Style crust pan fried. I got the supreme and it is excellent. I did to go but you can go there wednesday and eat all you can on the buffet for just $8.00!

This review is for my husband. This is his favorite place to eat in town. He appreciates the value and the staff. They are very accommodating by making sure he has his favorite pizzas. They always get his half sweet tea just right. He goes there at least once a week. When he picks a restaurant in town, this is it!

First, the price is a bit deceiving. My son and I went recently with the expectation of paying $16 for the buffet. We were charged over $22. Apparently the $8 only applies if you have water to drink next time I’ll know better. The buffet depleted for the most part, empty pizza pans while others had but a few slices left and had been sitting under the heat lamps for what seemed to be quite a while. The spaghetti and meat sauce and alfredo was empty and the whole time I was there was not once replenished even though they were informed of it. The salad bar was extremely limited and absolutely none of the dressings were labeled so you didn’t know if you were getting blue cheese Caesar ranch or whatever. The parmesan cheese that was supposed to be on each table we’re all empty and when the waitress was informed of it, she was very polite and promised to be right back. She also never bothered to come back and check on us with drinks and so forth. We never saw her again. Oddly, when we first entered, the staff member taking our money at the register, complained that it was very busy all day and they were having a hard time keeping up yet, we looked around and they were hardly any patrons whatsoever in the restaurant. Would I go back? If I could get in for $8, I might but at this point it was a complete turn off. Dried out pizza, mostly unreplinished food on all stations, pasta, Pizza, salad bar, even dessert. I was very unsatisfied and even at the lower price, I felt like I did not get my money’s worth I couldn’t even find a piece of bread LOL

01/2025 update review, After 4 months, we finally visited. Went on a Saturday, they had a variety of topings my favorite was the vegie loaded one, and for dessert, I loved the cheese (I think it was) and the oreo cookie one……….. waiter was nice, everything looked clean. They had a channel for kids, news, and sports on the Tv’s……..We just moved to this area, 2024, 1st time ordering on doordash, so can’t comment on service and atmosphere… Great value for the Alfredo Pasta (penne) noodles taste like they are boiled without salt, but it was ok. Pizza 1 Topping (Large) was good, cheese and garlic sticks were really good, and both came with marinade sauce and garlic sauce. cinnamon rolls were burned. A bit on top and on the bottom, tried the one least burned, and it was good.

We stopped at this Pizza Inn while on a long drive specifically because the sign on the front door advertised “Kids Night on Tuesdays.” Once we got to the register, we were told they no longer offer that promotion and that the sign should have been taken down. That sign was the entire reason we chose to stop here, so it was very misleading.
Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing. The salad bar items were brown and clearly not fresh, and the pizza itself was terrible — honestly one of the worst meals we’ve ever had. We paid over $36 and barely ate any of it.
This location is not representing the Pizza Inn brand well at all. If promotions are no longer honored, signage needs to be removed, and basic food quality needs serious improvement. Very disappointing experience.

Can’t go wrong with a pizza buffet. Has a decent salad bar and even pasta. Pizza selection changes and you can request a pizza to go on the buffet. Many are good, some are ok, and some are down right fantastic. The Cheeseburger Pizza is incredible. Also don’t forget desert with several desert pizzas and cinnamon rolls.

The food was acceptable for me but made my wife sick. I had issues from the food the next day. The cinnamon rolls were really good. The pizza was bland and didn’t have much taste. The salad bar was the best part of the meal.

Really hate to leave this as we have enjoyed pizza inn in waycross since they opened and have went frequently. Today we went and soon as we walked in one of the employees immediately said “We don’t open for 10 minutes” so we went outside and as we were deciding if we wanted to go somewhere else we saw that Tuesday’s are kids eat free painted on the window out front so we decided to wait since we have two young children. We walked in after the 10 minutes and they rang us up and I saw we were charged for the kids and I asked about it and was told they don’t do that anymore. So we paid the the amount and went in. My wife was getting some peppers on the salad bar and found a dead fly in them. She told them about it and they changed it. The pizza was good and fresh ,but the whole experience really has made us not want to go back. Being greeted like your a problem and then being told you don’t honor something that’s painted on your front window along with a dead fly floating in something in the salad bar is enough for us to take our business elsewhere.
