Authentic Heat and Great Flavors!
I recently sampled a few dishes here and was really impressed by the authentic flavors. We started with the Veg Samosas, which were perfectly golden and crispy, served with the classic green and tamarind chutneys. We also had the Veg Hot & Sour Soup, which was hearty and had a great balance of spice.

For the main event, we went with the Guntur Chicken. If you love spice, this is the dish to get! It’s packed with heat, flavored with fresh curry leaves, and has a deep, savory masala that really hits the spot.

A few important things to know before you go:

* Payment: They offer a discount if you pay with cash, so it’s worth bringing some along to save a bit on your bill.

* Tipping: I was told that the servers do not receive tips that are added to credit card receipts. If you want to ensure your server gets their tip, make sure to bring extra cash for that as well!

Great food and a massive menu—just come prepared with cash!

They have renovated this location and has great service. Last night tried out so many items from the menu and the food tasted delicious. My favorite were the Mutton ghee roast, paneer tikka tandoori and green March paneer pulav!! A must try!!

I love Bawarchi. Every time, the food is fresh and perfectly cooked. I will say it takes a moment for everything to come out, but idk the portions are like 1.5 times what you would expect, meaning by the time it comes out, you really enjoy it and eat it all.

The chai is wonderful! So far, I have tried the butter chicken with paneer and the paneer 55. All are wonderful!!!

If you’re a baby with spices like me (white as heck, didnt grow up with seasoned food bc my sister thought PEPPER was spicy. Doing my best to increase my tolerance as an adult), the mild WILL be a little spicy. And you know what? I would rather it be a little spicy and flavorful than dulled.

I do think it is funny that whenever I come over here, they go “mild? ” when asked about spice level. That assumption is 100% accurate LOL.

Everyone is so kind to me here. THEY TOLD ME HOW TO MAKE THEIR CHAI BC THEY NOTICED I LOVED IT. I wont share the recipe. You have to go and ask yourself!!

This is my favorite spot in Frisco, which I believe is saying a lot because there are a lot of places to go here for Indian.

Delicious authentic Indian food. The samosa has a great taste and isn’t too salty. We got the rice and bhindi okra as well as mango lassi. Be careful with the spice everything tasted good but we’re just not used to the authentic heat

Yesterday, we went to bawarchi restaurant that had a “buy 1 get 1 free” offer on dosas. We wanted to order a chicken dosa, but the lady there told us that only six types of dosas were included in the offer: podi dosa, ghee dosa, masala dosa, cheese dosa, Mysore masala dosa, and plain dosa. It was disappointing.
So we ordered a masala dosa and a cheese dosa, but the quantity was very small. We thought of complaining, and when the serving lady came, she apologized and brought us one more dosa, which was fine.
Then we ordered chicken tandoori, but it was completely burnt. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Food was really good. I had the paneer butter masala. Requested for a good spice level, not too hot but still enough to taste it and it was perfect.

Hello Everyone ,

We saw on Google that there was a promotion today: Buy 1 Biryani, Get 1 Biryani Free. To confirm, I called the restaurant beforehand. The staff told me they would call back in 2 minutes, but I never received any return call.

Later, my friend and I visited the restaurant. We noticed there were many pickup orders due to the promotion, and it takes more than one hour for new order to pickup, so we decided to dine in instead. A server came and took our order for Guntur Special Biryani and Vijayawada Special Biryani. After waiting around 20 minutes, the food was served.

When we started eating, the Guntur Biryani tasted extremely sour, and there was clearly visible curd in the chicken masala.

The Vijayawada Special Biryani was also not good — the chicken pieces were curry-style instead of the usual fried pieces typically served in Vijayawada biryani.

We informed the server immediately about the quality issues. However, the response we received was simply that they were very busy due to heavy takeout orders, without properly addressing our concern.

If the restaurant is unable to maintain quality due to high pickup demand, then why accept dine-in orders at the same time? Customers who choose to dine in also expect fresh and properly prepared food.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the promotion and the expectations set.

We went to Frisco to buy a used car for my friend. Nearby, there was a restaurant called Bawarchi. Two friendly and hardworking girls welcomed us. We ate tasty biryanis and loved the nice atmosphere. They also gave us a complimentary sweet, which was nice. We tried coffee too. It was a great experience..Highly recommended

Absolutely loved this place! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I have ordered Kaju Kodi fry, Chicken 555, Mutton Ghee Roast pulav and green mirchi chicken pulav. Every dish was perfectly cooked and full of taste. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was just right without being overbearing. From start to finish, it was a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Our server was wonderful! I believe Aisha was her name. My wife is pregnant and wanted some good Indian food. We’ve been here before but the experience was excellent both times! Delicious and well cooked food. The vibe is very nice as well! The menu is extensive but you can’t make a wrong choice.
