I’ve been here twice in the past few days, and my experience definitely improved the second time around. On my first visit, I tried the cheesesteak—while the portion size was enormous, the flavor didn’t quite hit the mark for me. However, my second visit changed my perspective. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it was incredible—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The roll and cheese complemented it perfectly, making it a melt-in-your-mouth kind of meal.
The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall positive experience. There’s enough seating for small groups (2–4 people), though most customers seem to grab their orders to go. That makes sense, as the sandwiches are hefty and take time to enjoy.
The menu is pretty straightforward, but it might be helpful to provide a bit more guidance for folks unfamiliar with hoagies or cheesesteaks—especially around the textures and flavors they can expect. Ordered online and delivery. R/Beef hoagie extra meat and an Italian hoagie extra meat both with mayo no oil. The R/b wrapping was soaked in oil and if I got extra meat then what they give as regular meat must be like three slices. The Italian was loaded with lettuce and an extreme amount of onions. The R/b had only two slices of tomato easily detected due to very minimal amount of lettuce and onion. So it was build your own hoagie day. I called to express my disappointment but was told the owner/ manager whom I requested to speak with was busy and he would call me back within an hour. At the time of this post 4am the next day I’m still waiting for the call. If you feel like ordering from this place go elsewhere if you still wish to order from Carmen’s then avoid the R/b it looked tired the sad part it tasted horrible. Never again. This place always has the best sandwiches and bakery items. (obv cause of the bread) Today I got the Kaiser Roll Egg, Cheese, Sausage and Bacon Breakfast Sandwicy. So tasty. Hit the spot immediately. Their cheesesteaks are unreal too, the onions sit carmelized on the grill all day, such good flavor and the roll is to die for. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place has gone down in a really short time. Last few months it seams like. The meat in this hoagie is so damn thick you can’t even enjoy it ! And there is like way less meat because they are slicing it so damn thick. This hoagie I got today is just sad ! I will need to go to the harden heights location and see if they have fallen off as well. This hoagie sucks ! Where the heck is the lettuce ? Just sad ! If I lived closer I’d take it back

Great hoagies and enormous. The bread makes the sandwich. Just the right amount of crunch but soft inside. I got the Rose’s Special and it was amazing. My wife got the corned beef special and it was piled highly with corned beef and coleslaw.

I flew in from Atlanta for a family function and had to go by Carmen’s for the Roast pork sandwich. I added Long hots and sharp provolone. Everything was absolutely delicious! Wish there was a Carmen’s in Atlanta.

I wish it was possible to give ZERO STARS. Went there for the FIRST & LAST time today. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! I ordered cheese fries with the cheese on the side & this is what they gave me!! I’ve NEVER in my life seen cheese whiz this type of color. The cup of cheese whiz (picture below) was the color of Dijon mustard & the pickle barrel had a webbed-film on top. EWWW I honestly don’t even know how this place is in business. SO GROSS!!

I honestly don’t know where to start. We used to order from this place weekly. Something changed idk if it’s management, staff or what. My family started to constantly get the wrong orders. Missing condiments, added condiments that we did not order. On several occasions we even received a cheese steak instead of a chicken cheesesteak. We stopped ordering from here for a very long time. My husband decides to try again. We get 2 chicken cheesesteaks. Very different condiments but both had the common thread of meat and bread (my husband doesn’t like cheese) we get home and the sandwich smells spoiled. I open my steak and the same thing. The chicken was rotten. We call and call no answer. We drive back and the place is closed (even though the hours say they are open until 8pm) I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. I am pregnant and have a 2 year old. My family could have gotten food poisoning. This could have done harm to my unborn child. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!
