One of the best sit-down Chinese restaurants in the area. They offer decent dimsum and grilled fowl, as well as mainstream and popular dishes like honey walnut shrimp and salt and pepper pork chops. Definitely recommend celebrating special occasions here with family.

Dim Sum improved since the last time I visited.

Although it’s not as good as SGV, it’s probably one of the better ones around the inland empire.

My family and I were craving some dim sum and China Republic seems to be the only restaurant in the IE area that offers it! One thing I will note is that they are quite expensive compared to other dim sum restaurants we’ve tried. I believe their dishes range from $5+ per plate which is pretty pricey but if you don’t want to drive out to Rowland heights, OC or LA – this is your only option.

Their food is good though! We tried all the standard dim sum dishes: Steam char sui bal, custard tarts, Custard buns, sesame buns etc. everything tasted great! Unfortunately they were out of the baked char sui buns, which are my favorite. But all the food we did try was delicious! Just expensive.

Food was sooo good. Dont go around 3-4pm bc service would be quite slow tho.
I got Siumai, truffle beef(doesnt taste any truffle), snowpea, pork pastry, spicy pork and fried fish. They all soooo good and come in big portion.

Had my doubts about this spot but my parents said if was hella good so gave it a shot. The dishes are all dishes I’ve seen before. They don’t have any “new” or dishes out of the ordinary. BUT where they lack in creativity or modernity they make up in EXECUTION/QUALITY. All the dishes were so good.

The crab was fried to perfection. You could easily bite in to get the meat. The French beef dish was so tender I was surprised they could do it that well. The macau pork belly had the perfect amount of crisp and not too much fat.

Overall, if you’re in the area looking for good Chinese food I’d def recommend.

I recently dined at China Republic, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The attentive service made me feel right at home, and the team was more than happy to recommend some of their signature dishes.

I started with the Mongolian Beef, and it was nothing short of perfection. Tender slices of beef, cooked to a juicy, melt-in-your-mouth consistency, were bathed in a rich, savory sauce with just the right hint of sweetness. The subtle heat and aromatic scallions complemented the dish beautifully.

Next up was the Truffle Beef, a dish that took indulgence to the next level. The beef was impeccably tender, with a luxurious, earthy aroma from the truffle that elevated each bite. The balance of flavors was masterfully crafted, making this dish an absolute must-try.

I also couldn’t resist the Kung Pao Chicken, which was an explosion of bold flavors and textures. The succulent chicken pieces were stir-fried with crunchy peanuts and vibrant bell peppers in a spicy, tangy sauce that had just the right kick. Every bite was a harmonious blend of heat and savoriness.

To round out the meal, I ordered the Sautéed Green Beans, which were perfectly cooked to retain a satisfying crispness. The beans were coated in a light garlic sauce that enhanced their natural freshness without overpowering the dish.

Overall, China Republic not only impressed me with their outstanding dishes but also with their attentive and friendly service. It’s a place where quality food meets exceptional hospitality, and I can’t wait to return!

We’ve been looking for a sit down Chinese restaurant and we’ve found it, here in our hometown! The restaurant was very spacious and clean. It’s great for groups. Our waitress was great and very attentive. We ordered a few dishes to try out like orange chicken, chow mein, and some meat dishes. The food was incredibly delicious! We will for sure come back! And also bring family whenever they’re in town.
