We visited here (and made a note on the booking) that it was for our anniversary meal. Not that there HAS to be, but there was no acknowledgment of our celebration, which would have been a nice touch.

The decor is beautiful and had a warm, cosy feel but sadly the staff did not match the high quality interior and came across cold and rude.

We were in the first evening slot of 6pm. It took a while for staff to bring menus and when we asked what the local fish of the day was, the waitress sighed and abruptly said ‘can’t have it today.’

This was just the first instance of many where staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience for dining in the restaurant. Zero interactions once they’d put the food down until they collected the plates, and noticed some of the staff were huffing when walking between tables too.

I asked if we could please have some tap water for the table (other tables were given some without having to ask) and they did not bring it over until I asked again. Meanwhile, a table next to us received complimentary champagne and a plate with a selection of breads (we received one small roll each), no idea what the difference was.

We ordered the tempura prawns and calamari to start which were both very good portions for starters. For mains, we ordered pan-fried salmon and the pan-fried sea bass, both of which were tasty and fresh. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate torte and the crème brûlée. Both were nice and light.

WC needs some work and the lock was loose in one stall in the ladies.

Once we’d paid the bill, there was no acknowledgment as we left, not even a smile or goodbye as we said ‘thank you’ on our way out.

Unfortunately, the service was so poor it would mean I’d never go back, despite the pretty decor and tasty food. Such a disappointment as a great location.

Booking process very easy as first time visitors. We chose from the A La Carte menu, although there was a very nice fixed price Winterfest menu available. The food was freshly prepared and excellent quality. We both enjoyed every one of the three courses. Staff were charming and attention level just right. We will return!

Our expectations regarding the seafood were that it was not unfavourable after all.
However, there is room for improvement in the service.

We dropped by for dinner here as this restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist. We were lucky enough to find a table on a Saturday evening, but it was quite busy, so make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

It is very rare that all the food we have in a restaurant is exceptional, but this happened here. The scallops in particular were extraordinary – I strongly recommend you try them.

The staff were very professional and friendly. The prices are high, but everything is spot one so worth it.

Overall a fabulous dining experience and we’ll definitely be back.

We arrived and thought that we were potentially trying to get into a closed restaurant. However, it wasn’t the case, we sat outside and with the heaters, which were very comfortable, overall very good atmosphere

Then we get to the food, now this place is not cheap at all, but it is worth every single penny, I have never in my life eaten such a large prawn, and the seafood linguine was by far the best dish I’ve ever had in a very long time, my friend adored the tuna steak I just can’t recommend it enough, on top of that they give you free bread! And the seeded roll IS SEEDED THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE ROLL!!!

Very nice place to dine, great food choice, lots of seafood options. Waiting staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. Food taste, quality and presentation very well executed. Ambience (noise control )could be improved somewhat but not sure how. The only let down with the food was the sticky toffee pudding..but otherwise dining here is a winner! Especially if celebrating a special occasion.

Amazing! Great fish and so well cooked. The taste is devine and the presentation on point. Service is to a very high standard; the staff are immaculate, they look as good as the food. Prices are not high for the quality. You must eat here if your staying locally. It’s just so very very good. Best find on the island so far.
