When the self order terminal offered an item they were unable to fulfill (the limited time shamrock shake because it doesn’t come out till next week) the staff went out of their way to make things right for me, going so far as to write my name down for when the item would be available. Fantastic service worthy of a 5 star review.

If I could give a negative review I would. My husband and I were traveling home from Birmingham and stopped at 9:55pm to get food and use the restroom. The employees and manager were staring at us as we opened the door to make sure they were open. Even though the sign says lobby is open until 11pm, a cashier came to the door and said you know we are closed right? And locked us out. And we can see multiple employees standing inside waiting with a cigarette in their hand to go out and smoke. As we are locked out they all went out the other door to go and smoke. They are watching us and staring while trying to figure out what just happened? My husband is African American and we can’t help but feel as if that’s why they were “closed” an hour before the sign states the lobby closes. Racism is NOT OK. ESPECIALLY FROM A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. The way we’re treated and had the door locked in our faces makes us sick. Do better McDonald’s. I’m sure people who are not white spend plenty of money at McDonald’s. The treatment and stares make us want to get a lawyer. Like you literally see a black man open the unlocked restaurant door and decide y’all closed early?! While judging and staring. I almost forgot they had another employee standing at the other door in case we tried it, staring too. It’s places like your McDonald’s that keeps the racism alive in 2025 and that’s just sad.

I don’t usually wright bad reviews, I’m usually a very understanding person but however this doesn’t even make sense to me. We got two egg cheese McGriddles one with sausage and the other with bacon and all we got was McGriddle bread with a piece of sausage in two tiny pieces of bacon no cheese or egg when we called they said it was our fault cuz we didn’t double check with the people makeing our order that it was going to have cheese or egg and then our biscuit was hard as a brick and burned and our hash browns where cold and soggy. This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard

Whoever was taking orders in the drive through was not very pleasant. Not necessarily rude, but just truss that I don’t want to be here why are you bothering me kind of attitude. The gentleman handing out the food was great. Very friendly. Food was excellent. Hot and fresh.

Isaiah, I believe is his name, at the McDonalds in Atalla was absolutely amazing tonight. A party before us had completely trashed the dining area and this kid busted his buttocks waiting on people while also trying to clean up. He had the best, most pleasant attitude and was so sweet. This boy deserves a raise! Also, the food was hot and so good. Love this location. Please treat the employees with a little more respect… especially on a “holiday”.

3 meals, nothing special.. got to the pick up window, girl was nodding off and out of it. The girl asked us 4 times what our order was and what was our drinks. Tried to hand us the wrong drinks 3 times. Girl at 1st window said, “ if we want a receipt, we would have to ask for it at the second window”.. we asked for a receipt an it was complete chaos. The girl came back to window 3 different times to tell us she would get the manager to talk to us. We didn’t ask to speak to a manager, we asked for a receipt. We finally got a receipt after 15 minutes of waiting. The girl at the window asked us for the receipt back so she could get our food. Proceeded to hand us the wrong food again a the wrong drinks. After a couple more minutes, a manager removed the girl from that position. We got our food, and left. As we pulled out the parking out, we checked our food and were missing a meal, had to go back, but this time we went inside. Manager got our meal replaced. Went back to the hotel, and the DQP with cheese had no meat and no cheese. Was just a bun with ketchup and pickle I took my loss and went elsewhere. I don’t recommend going here for dinner at all.

The service was awful. There was a employee that was so hateful. Gave us cold fries and not what we ordered to drink.we waited for our food for so long we had to go up and then had to wait on it. The employee came to our table and jerked our tray with cold fries off the table.so we didn’t have the receipt to get the store number and the employees name. Attitude

Service was great. It was fast and accurate. There was an employee that came around to the tables asking if we needed anything; that’s a first for me at McDonald’s! The restaurant and bathroom were clean. The burger was typical McDonald’s food. The fries were hot and, as usual, very good.
