This was a fun stop in Morro Bay! We enjoy visiting the Visalia location. We sat out front on their pet friendly patio with our doggie. They have happy hour from 2-5pm so we had a glass of wine and a loaded potato appetizer. The service was great. Friendly staff & fun food. Many told us that their chowder was the best in town but we didn’t have a chance to try it. Located in the middle of town on the main drag with views of the Bay from the restaurant. Highly recommend when visiting Morro Bay!

Drove here from central California with some coworkers- the views from the restaurant were gorgeous. The server was very friendly. And overall, the food was just good. I was not disappointed, the flavors were nice, just didn’t have that “oomph” to get it up to 5 stars. Building is a little old and dingy, but the views really make up for it, and all the shops nearby. I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back, but next time I’m in Morro Bay I’ll try a new place.

Their JuJu Bleu burger is outstanding: caramelized onions, bleu cheese, smoked applewood bacon. I need to try other burgers on their menu but I always go for my favorite, the JuJu Bleu. My gal ordered the Athena salad with chicken. That was excellent as well. Great food, service (Jason) and a view of the bay and rock.

Unfortunately this Juju’s is nothing like the one in Clovis. The location is nice, but there are too many flies for my liking. It was one of the few places open last night, but familiar (at least we thought). We ordered loaded potatoes, mini sliders and clam chowder. The loaded potatoes looked disgusting but the worst part was green clam chowder. The clam chowder was watery and green which is off putting. While I love anything with herbs, I think disclosing the color or maybe even topping it off with herbs may help. But clam chowder shouldn’t be watered down and green. We did not take one sip.
The loaded potatoes had mozzarella that would not melt or barely brown . It looked so unappetizing as one would imaging grabbing a potato and pulling it to see the cheesy stretch. Not here.
I will say the sliders were seasoned nicely. But $60 ($70 with tip) down the drain. I would never ask for money back, but I was tempted. This had to have been the worse thing I’ve had in the past year. I’ll keep Juju of Clovis anytime over this place.

It’s difficult to like a place like the Clovis, CA, House of Ju Ju. Because you show up to this restaurant with high expectations. My Clovis experience has always been 4 or 5 stars. For tonight’s dinner she ordered a wedge salad with blue cheese and I order a bowl of chowder. I couldn’t finish the bowl, not because of the size, it was smaller than I expected. The chowder was gray and over run with black pepper. It didn’t taste like any chowder I’ve had before. I don’t think I’ve ever left behind chowder before. The minuscule shrimp that I had added onto the top worked out to be a dollar a shrimp, adding six dollars more to my bill. My wife’s salad was drenched in blue cheese dressing. It wasn’t a compliment to the entrée. She did finish her’s either. In total the $74 + dollar dinner was for the view, the wine and the beer. I should’ve just had their hamburger. House of Ju Ju makes a good burger. Well the Clovis one does.

Tasty food. Good service. Sunset was cool but lighting too bright, white and artificial at back of restaurant to really enjoy the warm tones of the setting sun

An unfortunate farewell must be said to House of Juju in Morro Bay I’m afraid. I’ve been a patron of Jujus for over ten years but after being served raw meat the second time in the past year, I think I’m afraid I’m going to have to go elsewhere for a refreshing burger. Other consistent service related frustrations add to this decision but the potatoes and properly cooked bison burgers will be missed.

Food overall was great!
Burger was amazing , no fries but their potatoes are amazing and I didn’t even miss fries .
Flat bread was eh, nothing special.
Would not get again.
Wait staff was attentive. Nothing over the top but good.
Place was cold inside .
Atmosphere was … Very oddly just tossed together with random stuff that’s seen better days.
Looks like it has a fresh coat of paint .

It was my first time coming here. I live nearby Morro Bay and have tried most of the restaurants but I’ve never have come to this one. It was amazing food. Bradley was calm and collected and knew what he was talking about. Great server. Highly recommend this place.

SO GOOD!!! Had the dragon Lady salad with chicken, so many flavors. Elaine from Seinfeld would love that it’s a big salad. Companion had the dragon Lady hot dog and said it was messy but delicious. Can’t wait to go back.
