I went here to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious! It’s pricey, but worth it. I had a blueberry lemon drop martini…delicious! I started with the lobster bisque, which I would give an 8 out of 10. The bisque had lots of lobster, but lacked a lobster or seafood flavor. The ceasar salad was incredible. The bone-in ribeye was outstanding as well as the accompanying crab stuffed shrimp. The a la carte sides (potatoes au gratin, Brussel sprouts, and asparagus) were also very good, but not great. I finished with the creme brule. Flemings surprised us with a sparkler and chocolate truffles on a plate saying Happy Birthday! So special!

I was very grateful for the birthday service we received, but the overall experience was very mid. For the amount that we paid, I would have expected our wine to be poured for us, finished plates to be cleared to make room for the entrees, and to have enough time between our appetizers, salad, and entrees so that we didn’t stack dishes on top of each other. The food itself was okay, but again not for the price that we paid. The steaks were juicy but under seasoned, and the meal overall was unfortunately unremarkable. Despite this review, I am thankful for the birthday sparklers and chocolate truffles I got at the end, we just won’t be coming back.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and had such a great experience! The staff was very attentive which made the evening feel special. I went for the steaks which were cooked perfectly, and the a la carte sides paired beautifully with the meal. The bar is fully stocked, so there’s no shortage of drink options to enjoy alongside dinner. We ended the night with dessert, which was just as good as the main course. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it a perfect spot for a nice evening out. They also feature a tomahawk steak special on Tuesdays. Either way this is definitely a place worth coming back to!

My favorite steakhouse in the DMV. The best flavored steak, hands down. Their finishing butter is immaculate. Excellent portions for the price. Beautiful ambiance.

Had a reservation for a birthday dinner. Parking was difficult as there were no empty spaces. We were seated right away. They had the table nicely made with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY card and plaquard for the table. Service was slow to start. We sat for what felt like several minutes before being offered water but once our waitress came she was on top of it. I don’t recall her name but she was working the bar at the same time. She made an amazing blueberry lemon drop martini! We ordered the small cold seafood tower. The crab legs were slightly frozen still but overall it was delicious especially the oysters! We ordered a tomahawk, asparagus, and loaded baked potato. The food was great. Nothing overcooked. Flavorful. We had a fudge brownie with ice cream, and took cheesecake to go. We had a great experience.

In California, Fleming’s is a vibrant date night restaurant for all ages. Fleming’s in McLean was giving older couples only vibes and I’m not sure if it’s because of its location or connection to the hotel next door, but that’s how I felt when I walked in. With that said, clean, professional and classic ambiance.
Food: We had the Pork Belly, Wedge Salad, French Onion Soup, 20oz bone-in filet with truffled lobster tail, along with charred Brussels and (off menu) french fries. The pork belly was like an extra think piece of bacon over grits smothered in bbq sauce. It wasn’t what we expected and missed the mark. The bbq sauce was a bit ketchup-y. The salad was great! Large, crisp and refreshing. Loved it. The soup was very tasty. A warm addition. The steak was cooked to perfection. Delish. I don’t think we needed the lobster tail. I would do without it next time. The Brussels missed the mark for me. A bit too charred tasting without enough balsamic reduction to cut the burnt taste. The French fries were perfect. Even though they’re off menu, they’ll still make them. We also asked for an aioli to dip which was good too. Overall, I will be back because of the great steak. I will change my order a bit, but it was nice. We enjoyed a wine pairing flight and our waiter was a delight.

I ate at Flemmings on December 6, 2025. I made a reservation 5-6 days ahead of time. I was very disappointed at where the hostess first seated us, which was at a table right outside the kitchen. I am surprised that they have a table there at all since it is an extremely high traffic area. I asked to sit at a different table, and at first you would have thought I was speaking a different language. She stood there for a second dumbfounded. Eventually they moved us 1 table over, still in the high traffic area. This whole situation is weird because the reservation was at 6:00 pm and the restaurant wasn’t busy and we were actually a couple minutes early. I didn’t want to spend the whole night fighting about this so we sat down.

We ordered drinks. Then a few minutes later we ordered an appetizer and entrees. On their bread and butter tray was a local compound butter which was really good. We also had the burrata app which was good.

Our drinks arrived when we were finished with our appetizers, so, not great.

Steaks came out and they were both cooked perfectly, but both lacked seasoning. It would be fine to under season if you have salt on the table but there was none. We also ordered either scalloped potatoes or au gratin. This was very disappointing. Literally Betty Crocker’s is 100 times better.

The good news was that we ordered wine when making our entree selections and the red came promptly with the entrees.

Overall, for the price, this was a very disappointing experience. I doubt I’ll ever return.

Came here for a work event and my oh my I was impressed with how everything was! The service was top notch! We booked a private room for our end of year party! Our waiters and and wiatresses were amazing! They were quick, polite and just great!
I got the mignon and we ordered a lot of different appetizer. My favorite were the lobster mac and cheese! Atmosphere was intimate, fancy and class. The filet was top notch; it was cook to perfection! Mash potato were creamy, soft and delicious! Portion were so big I ended up taking half of my meal home!

Con: Getting to the place were a bit hard due to the windy road. Parking is in the garage but other than that, everything else were great!

The restaurant is located in what I would describe as an old second rate hotel dinning room. I felt like we were eating at the Holiday Inn, not a premier steak house. The server was fantastic, however for the amount of money we paid, I would have expected a little more attention – fill wine glasses when empty, clear plates a little quicker, etc.. The steaks were good, and cooked well but were both under seasoned. When you pay almost $500 (not including tip) for a dinner for 2 adults and a 6 year old, you would expect better. All in all, we won’t be returning.

I’ve came on Saturday for a birthday celebration, and the process was extremely smooth. By the time we sat down, we were served our bread and water, which was delicious. Our server was professional and passionate about the different drinks available.I wasn’t sure to order since I’m not a big steak person so I’ve order the tomato pasta with chicken. It was so.. mid… and the mac and cheese? It ruined mac and cheese for me.. I couldn’t even eat the rest of it. I’ve order more cheese for the pasta but it still didn’t mask the blandest flavor I’ve had in the pasta. It tasted like toilet paper with pepper. Overall, experience was ok! I would rather go to Ruth Chris.
