we had a great night out. first dinner at Mooney’s. dinner was awesome. it didn’t take long for the Mac and cheese to get to the table along with the rest of our order. the food and service was on point. we will definitely be back. We left and went to the Riviera for the great show..

If you ever want a really good place to go to eat around Tonawanda go to this place!! (They also have other locations around western NY) Their Mac and Cheese is AMAZING!!!! I’m not usually a big Mac n Cheese person, but I thought I’d give it a try. They have a whole page in their menu just for the Mac and cheese. You can have it with anything you want in it. I got the one with lobster in it and I couldn’t even eat 1/3 of it!! My husband had the beer batter fish fry and it didn’t fit on the plate!!
I do have to say, the food took a while to come out, but, it was WELL worth the wait. Would have been 5 stars all the way if it wasn’t for that and the service was a little slow as well.

We ordered Mooney’s thru Doordash. We normally order from the location on Military Rd but Doordash only had this location as an option. Let me say, we LOVE the Mooney’s on Military Rd.
Unfortunately, the same quality control is not in place at the City of Tonawanda location. We ordered our entrées and an order of fries. One of our orders of mac n cheese had a rather long hair in it and paid $6.99 + tax for the fries. We’re used to getting fresh cut fries and a big basket full when we order from our usual location. What we received didn’t meet either of those expectations.

I went back to this restaurant after going a few years ago and not liking the reception that I got. Well we decided to try it again and I must say that they have made a lot of improvements. The macaroni is the best ever with so many different varieties and kinds and is made to order fresh. The chicken wings are always on point, the staff are courteous and simply put, if you haven’t been here I suggest you try it out, I promise you won’t be upset. I always try a different macaroni and cheese. Their pretzel sticks are made so fresh and are delicious, I was just dipping in and out of the macaroni and cheese, the drinks are always on point and strong. Instead of ordering online if you’re able to I will go in and order my food right there because delivery is a little slow

Amazing food, amazing experience. Only thing that I wasn’t crazy about is that there is no changing tables in the bathrooms. They have high chairs so it is a family friendly place but when I needed to change my babies diaper I had to go out to my car in the rain to change it. Highly recommend adding changing tables in the bathrooms.

PB&J chicken fingers are great! Korean BBQ chicken fingers were a let down. Buffalo Chicken Mac was good, not great. And their French onion soup was good. Staff was nice too.

We’ve been to this Mooney’s a few times and will keep returning for their wings. Their sauce is amazing and their homemade blue cheese is delicious as well! A little chilly, so dress warmly.

The food is out of this world.The seemingly plain turkey hogie is an experience all in itself.And the mac and cheese is what they’re known for so you definitely need try Mooney’s

Local Tonawanda restaurant known for Fish Fry and Mac and Cheese.
Pros: Close handicapped parking (when it’s not crowded). Indoor and outdoor dining. Variety of menu items and reasonable prices. Friendly service. Large portion sizes, good food. Clean bathrooms. There is a bar side and a restaurant/dining side
Cons: Seating is close, couldn’t pull out my chair far cause other people where sitting next to me. This is a “bar”/restaurant so it’s kinda loud
