This place is off the charts good! I first tried their Glenview location last year and completely forgot to post a review. I had no idea they also had a spot on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago—what a great surprise!

Ever since my visit to the Lincoln location, I’ve been craving a return. The menu is full of unique and interesting dishes, but what really stands out is the quality—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfectly balanced infusions. It’s honestly next-level.

Try the eggplant appetizer, the Nomad Skewers chicken and lamb kebabs w/ Plov rice and Pelmeni dumpling soup. Also, must try their Tashkent tea. Honestly, if you are adventurous, you can’t go wrong ordering anything off the menu.

The staff was friendly and attentive, and while the space is small, it’s beautifully decorated, authentic, cozy, and spotless. The needle point upholstery gives it a truly charming touch.

Parking was easy in Glenview, but fair warning: the Chicago location is tougher due to nearby construction, so bring your patience—it’s worth it.

Highly recommend!

I normally don’t spend so much on myself at restaurants I’ve never been to but the smell convinced me I was in a good place. I had the Steamed Vareniki and the Shashlik Lamb. What really won me over was the server for our table. Alex is wonderful. He was a great communicator, recommended some delish dishes, and we had a great time because of him. Ask for Alex if you go to the Glenview location!!

I think this is the only place in Chicago where you can get an authentic Kyrgyzstan meal. It’s a cozy neighborhood spot that offers friendly service and delicious meals. I like the Lagman noodle dishes and prefer going with several people to share a bunch of other plates too. The 7-layer honey cake is light, moist and delicious. Bonus: it’s BYOB!

Amazing menu with a great range of options, and excellent quality food. Highly recommend! My dining partner’s favorite was the samsa. We also liked the plov and the pumpkin dumplings. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! 🙂

This place has THE BEST CENTRAL ASIAN FOOD!!! Service is amazing, food is on another level and everyone is so nice and welcoming! We came in here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and they were so kind to give us their special cake bringing candles and lights with music! This experience was so special and I will definitely be coming back here soon! My favorite place in Chicago

The restaurant was small and exquisite, with a ceiling adorned with the Kyrgyz flag’s totem.

We started with Boosork bread, which had a chewy and soft texture that reminded us of New Orleans beignets, but with the addition of sweet sour cream. It was delicious!

The Tashkent chai, a mix of black tea, green tea, mint, and lime, was refreshingly flavorful. The cheburek, resembling Argentinian empanadas, was filled with minced beef and cilantro and was a hit with the boys. I preferred the Samsa, which had a strong beef flavor.

We highly recommend the eggplant salad, featuring a candy-like exterior, soft eggplant, and a sweet sauce. Our friend said it was the best eggplant dish he’s ever had.

The Manty were like large dumplings with a pure beef flavor, complemented by a tomato sauce, quite different from those in other countries. The Boso lagman noodles had an incredibly springy texture. Each dish had its unique characteristics, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend giving this place a try.

Fresh authentic Kyrgyz food and attentive service. There were four of us at the table, and each of us enjoyed their food. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Their compote is exquisite.

We’d never had food from Kyrgyzstan before, so we were excited to try it out. And we’re all happy that we did. Everything was really good! Because there were five of us, we were able to order and try a lot of different things, and all of us liked every dish.

The restaurant is decorated nicely and I liked the music they were playing, too.

There isn’t currently a sign with their name on it outside of the building to indicate where it is, but it’s under the red awning.

I wish I lived closer, because I would definitely like to come back soon.

The overall taste is quite good. Pilaf smells good. The meat tastes great. For those who love to eat red meat, it’s really delicious. Honey cake is my favorite. It’s silky. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t have noodles. I heard that the one downtown has noodles. Next time, I’m going to experience it。The environment is very comfortable. Whether it is a couple, a family dinner or a small gathering of friends is a very good choice.
