The order was 2 plain meat and cheese tostadas, plain meat and cheese burrito, enchilada, guacamole with chips and two sweet teas.
When we got our tea we noticed we were drinking sugared water, no tea in sight. Not even a hint of tea flavored.
The building was mostly empty mind you, so when we sat at a booth the entire seating area was open. Needless to say a couple had to sit right behind us and proceed to talk loudly and squirm in their booth like toddlers do with impatience. As soon as this begins, one of their employees decides to sit right behind me and play his music extremely loud. As soon as we move the employee decides to get up and walk outside. Guess he couldn’t be bothered to do that earlier.
Our meal finally arrives
somewhere underneath the most awesome mountain of cheese you’ll ever meet. Too be quite honest I’d probably eat that and the chips and skip the rest of this meal and been happy. I could only do 2 stars though cause we didnt like the majority of our meal.
Everything was too salty for me to tolerate. I manage 2 small bites out of the enchilada and ate just a few more of the guacamole. The chips alone actually were great, they held up well against the guacamole and didnt break.
He finished the 2 tostadas but not the burrito.
It was average Mexican fast food.
But I always go inside to order. The customer service is exemplary for USA based fast food.
I’ve given this Yukon location more chances than I can count, and after tonight, I’m officially done. My wife and I ordered nachos, tacos, a Chilada, and sweet tea — and yet again, everything was subpar. The nachos were the final straw: bland, poorly assembled, and nowhere near the quality I’ve experienced elsewhere.
What makes it worse is the inconsistency. Every visit feels like a gamble. I’ve spent a lot of money here over time thinking this was just how Taco Casa was now… but then I visited the Moore location, and it reminded me of the Taco Casa I grew up with in Texas. Moore’s quality is excellent — this Yukon location isn’t even close.
If you’re looking for a true Taco Casa experience, do yourself a favor and drive to Moore. This location is an absolute disappointment, and I can’t recommend it to anyone.
I scanned their QR code for a free taco Who doesn’t like a free taco?!
Been a while since ever been here, they are supposed to build one closer to our house and I can’t wait!
Restaurant was partially filled but all tables were cleaned and ready for the next patrons!
Overhead music was a touch of country!
