While on vacation in Morehead City, our first dining experience was at Ioanni’s Grill & Bar. Our server, Jerrmie, provided outstanding service, recommending a drink that exceeded my expectations. The liquid marijuana he presented was a delightful surprise. We started our meal with gator bites, accompanied by a side of hot sauce. The Greek Stromboli was our main course, and it was exceptional. The texture and doneness of the chicken were flawless, making the dish truly remarkable. We appreciated the bar and grill atmosphere, which was lively yet not excessively loud or crowded. The numerous TVs allowed us to watch sporting events while dining. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting, with a friendly tone. Our rating for this establishment is a perfect 10/10.

Food was sports bar food. Ordered burger medium, it was well. Still a good burger. Didn’t get wings but they did look pretty tasty. My wife got the pizza and said it was good. The crab dip didn’t disappoint, it was really something to try. Service was good just had to ask for sauce a few times. So, overall if you enjoy a sports bar and a good vibe give this place a try. The food will be up to you.

The food was amazing, the seafood was seasoned perfectly. Fries were really fresh, had a golden crisp outer layer and soft moist potatoes inside. The grilled vegetable was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything was fantastic, best seafood I had in the Atlantic Beach area.

Ioanni’s is a sports bar place with ambience being very sporty, totally packed and fun crowd. There was also dining section where families sat down since they also had kids menu on the list.

Chicken burger that we ordered had a huge chicken patty, juicy but lacked flavor. Also, the buns were bland. Burger could be made better!
We ordered tenders with spicy sauce, the sauce was more salty than spicy.
Fries and okra were okay.
Overall, this place was open until late and is your only option if you are looking for food late night in this area.
Our major turn down was with the bill. They made us wait for 30 mins before they got our bill and some more before they got the swipe machine for the card. Up until then service was good but this wasted our time.

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The owners son gave my daughter a jacket because she was chilly. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Her recommendations were all on point! Highly recommended you stop in for some great food. The pizza, wings, burgers, fries and Philly steak sandwich’s are awesome!!!

We stopped here our 1st night and we’re so glad we did! It looked crowded but we were seated right away. Everyone was so friendly and the food was excellent! I feel like the sandwich buns were homemade. Everything was delicious and filling and we’d love to come back our next visit!

The customer service is always good and there’s the classic sports bar look and feel if thats what you like. They’re pretty busy on a lot of days so there can be a bit of a wait but not terribly so.
The food is great. I haven’t tried anything that wasn’t tasty. The burgers are especially good and go perfectly with their home chips with ranch dip.

Horrible. We ordered burgers and they were microwaved, warmed up. So hot my husband burned his tongue. Terrible service, the bartender was absent and the atmosphere was not friendly.
