Shield and Heal Missions (IV)
Attentive, helpful wait staff. Waitress indulged specific questions about portion sizes. Unique appetizer was promptly prepared and brought out. Entrees were delicious, well seasoned but not to excess. The options were plentiful and enticing enough to merit return business. Saloon, steakhouse ambience was what one would anticipate from this style of restaurant. Thank you for a great experience, we look forward to our next visit.

I see postings for this all the time on the local FB group. A few of us decided to stop here for lunch on Sunday 12/7, It was a significant disappointment.
Let’s break this down-
The name is ribeyes, however, the Ribeyes that come out of the kitchen are a tad bit thicker than an iPhone. When One reads the menu and sees 10 ounce ribeye, they do not know expect paper thin. Waffelhouse would be a comparing competition on steaks.
Steak fries- while these do have the high potential to be excellent, you literally get 7 of them. They are average sized – about the size of a finger. However they have no seasoning and are mushy on the inside.
The burgers – $17 for a patty of grease (pressed it down and had enough oil to lube a cam shaft). Again, no seasoning like salt no pepper, just the taste of oil. I will say the patty was of significant size. It was definitely thicker than most average restaurants. The biggest downfall was the amount of grease that made the bun super soggy.
Salad bar – salad bar is typically what you would expect. My only complaint is the limit of one trip. This encourages people to get their moneys worth by making massive plates, causing shortages of some items. I didn’t see one plate, including my own that was not loaded like a mountain.
Service- drinks were full.
The atmosphere is ok- I would not say it’s warm and cozy. I would say it’s one where they know their food is a double bogey status on a par 3- so they attempt to flaunt the only assets they have which are their servers. Additionally , the servers know very little about the food they’re selling. And do not have the desire to go ask questions when customers are curious.
For the quality and price – your best off driving to Wilmington.

Very nice place and the bar is cozy . My server was excellent and very attentive. Salad bar was terrific. But my ribeye was tough and was lacking in flavor. I’d be willing to try again because everybody has a bad day and everything else was top notch .

Mom and I love going to Ribeyes; whenever I am down visiting Mom, we go. Their steaks are always delicious and they have a fantastic, fresh salad bar with lots of options.
I go with the hand cut steak fries, which comes with a chipotle chili ranch and it is AMAZING. Has just the right amount of spice; I’d recommend you try it if you enjoy heat.
Highly recommended, we always have a great time here, be sure to check them out if you’re in the area.

We were visiting family for Father’s Day and decided to come here based off recommendations. First time coming here, great views of the riverfront, relaxing atmosphere outside, it was the perfect day. Service was fantastic! Our server Ashley really took care of us! Thank you! Started off with the shrimp appetizer, I had the grilled salmon sandwich with twice baked potato- Amazing! If you’re drinking, try the Hazyum IPA. We definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

$16.05 for a salad is RIDICULOUS! Every time I come it’s a different price! I come often and I have never paid this much for a salad. While there salad bar is decent with different selections, it’s not that great to be paying almost $20 bucks for!

we have lived in clinton for a little over a year and have never been to ribeyes. im such a picky eater and tonight was our first night eating here! the food was great and service was great as well!

First time I’ve been here and would recommend this place everyone. The wait staff was great. They answered all my questions about different foods on their menu and made some suggestions that they thought I would enjoy. The food tasted amazing and was made how I asked. Owner/ Managers came out and introduced themselves and asked if everything was made to my liking. They had a good sense of humor also. The alcohol drinks where also on point and the bartender had good knowledge of different drinks and held a conversation with me when I asked about different things. Needless to say I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be going back.
