My husband and I stop by this nice restaurant for our date night this evening. Restaurant is beautiful. Leonardo was our waiter. Very nice guy. Awesome server. Food came out fast and was really good especially churros and service was top notch. Everyone was super nice. Also I didn’t get the name of the spanish lady that rolled the cart to us with all the hot food. She was wearing all black cloth and had black hair in a braid. She was so nice and had a mini conversation with us. Super sweet lady. AMAZING experience from the front door to when we left. Thank you so much. Will be back

Went with a large group and had the side room. Service and food were to notch. They add the tip for large groups, which is standard and each person got their own bill. Perfect! Staff pitched in and served us quickly and efficiently. GREAT EXPERIENCE

This place used to have great food and atmosphere. They have definitely had their struggles over the years. This used to be one of my favorite places, so sad. We thought we’d give them another chance, but that was a huge mistake. They had reservations available so we booked an 8:15 for a Friday evening. Then I saw their hours listed as closing at 8:30. We called to ask if that was a mistake and were told that the hours are listed that way because they take their last table at 8:30 and it wouldn’t be a problem at all. We arrived on time and were seated promptly. The waitress took our drink order and alerted us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. Hmm. Not at all what they told us on the phone. But ok. We ordered. They had no rice available. Food was not good. Multiple items were somehow ice cold as if it had been sitting. Gross. Then as we waited a long while for the check, all the employees started cleaning up around us. Like turned the lights up, chairs on the tables, multiple people sweeping as if we weren’t even there. We had to ask for the check twice, but they were more interested in taking the dirty plates to the kitchen (and told us so) than letting us pay and leave. It’s weird that a dinner only restaurant is closing at 8:30, but if that’s the case they could have been honest about it and we wouldn’t have come at all. I hate to leave this review, but if I can save anyone else from coming here, I feel responsible to do so.

Always a fun and great meal at Gonza. The food & drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is energetic without being loud. Menu has lots of variety without being overwhelming, plus the server gave us her top 4 favorites. I always go for the chilaquiles verde and they never disappoint. They had a special drink for Valentine’s/Galentine’s that was a strawberry coconut concoction and despite my usual distaste for coconut, it was fantastic! (I started with my basic Patrón margarita rocks, but switched after tasting my friend’s special.) Love the decor and especially the lights.

This place has been in Waverly Place for a very long time ever since the big remodel of the plaza. We go once every few years and then remember why we don’t go very often. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff with good quality food, but the price is just too high for what you get and this visit had the AC broken so it was like 85 inside and 95 outside. Not fun for eating spicy armadillo eggs and chicken flautas. The kids wanted cheese dip and a 6oz cup is $9 now . $6 draft Dos was nice and the Enchiladas Chili Con Mole was top notch. Overall, it’s a fun place to check out on occasion and the plaza itself is really great with a Shake Shack right there with frozen custard and a working AC for enjoying your dessert.

This place is AMAZING!! Our server was Magda and she was so absolutely pleasant and on top of it! Best service ever! The food was so delicious! We ordered the burrito and at Magdas recommendation the Lacko tacos they were to die for! Highly recommend! If youre ever around a Gonza try and stop by super good food and great service!!

A really fun place to eat. Mexican/Colombian is definitely a great hybrid. The atmosphere is really vibrant. Colorful lights and art are everywhere. The music is great and most importantly so is the food. Chips and salsa come with the meal and are served warm… yum. The watermelon margaritas are delicious and very balanced between sweet and the deep flavor of the tequila. The staff are very accommodating and the restaurant is clean, especially considering that they were so busy that we had a twenty minute wait for a table. We’re looking forward to going back soon.

Our second visit. The menu is a bit small and some of the dishes are as well. The burrito was filling and plantains tasty. The chicken mole enchiladas were a nice balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. The anejo and habanero hot sauces were great! Get some on the side. The atmosphere is great and service was good as well. Cheers
