Food on hot bar looked like it had been there all day. Waitress acted like she could care less if we were there. Overall very poor. Most Shoney’s are outstanding.

Great food. I loved the fried boneless breakfast chops. The biscuits were perfect. These employees love their jobs, and it reflected in their service and quality of food. I mean, the photos don’t do it justice, and I didn’t want to photo guest’s in the back. You can clearly see the freshness and cleanliness of each secfion of the bar. Only a hard, caring worker keep buffet bars clean and full. .

Went in on Father’s day for the buffet and free dessert special. The restaurant has a dated feel to it. It’s not the cleanest place either. Upon viewing the buffet I opted to order off the menu. The buffet didn’t look appetizing at all and again kind of an outdated set up. I got the all american burger. I asked for medium on the cook and it was. All in all it was a pretty good burger. Cooked good on a fresh bun with all the condiments. The onion rings were pretty good as well. The sweet tea was a bit off with a funny taste. Never got a refill either. Mom wasn’t pleased with the buffet but dad did enjoy it. The Father’s day brownie sunday was pretty good. A brownie with ice cream and hot fudge is hard to mess up. Overall the food was underwhelming. The place was full of older people. A guy in a booth who I assume couldn’t hear had his phone on full blast for our entire meal. It was incredibly annoying. I don’t think I’d go again but you can make that call for yourself. Money is tight and I need to have a good meal when we are able to go out.

Had the food bar at 2pm. Selection was less than average. But my biggest beef was the temperature of ALL the food. The hot food wasn’t hot enough and the cold food was room temp. The beans had cooked so long that a skim was over the top. I’m SURE the health inspector would have closed them down. The manager was called over to our table, and he asked what he could do to correct the situation. The only thing he could have done was remove all the food and start all over, which I knew wasn’t going to happen. He should have comped our meal because we sure didn’t eat much off his bar! Since he didn’t offer to comp it, I decided that was our last trip to this particular Shoney’s. No, I do not recommend this location.

This is the cleanest Shoney’s I’ve been in in a while. The buffet was kept up well and the staff was super friendly. Can’t go wrong with the breakfast bar, but the other dinner buffet offerings were good too. Perfect for picky eaters and families.

Had the salad bar, for the most part the food was good. The part that didn’t impress me was the condition of the bathrooms. Not clean at all. The building is very dated, and could use some updating.

Haven’t eaten at Shoney’s in years and they didn’t disappoint. Really great breakfast meal. We passed on the food bar, but the food looked fresh and warm. Service was really excellent, Bianca our waitress was the best!!!! I’d recommend this place and would go back!!!

I have to say, this is only the second Shoney’s I’ve been to in the past 30 years. And, I have to mention Ben, the young man who takes care of the buffet. That’s one of the hardest working young men I’ve seen in a while! That buffet is spotless, he takes pride in what he does, which is the Christian thing to do! Ex Athlete Ex MMA fighter, you want to get yourself in shape? Go talk to Ben over at Shoney’s, he’ll hook you up! The food was good, and plentiful! I guess we have to be grateful we’re not in the Ukraine right now! Stop on in, and say a prayer, cuz as bad as things seem, they could always get worse!
The bathrooms were spotless, and if you ever go into a facility and the bathrooms are dirty? Get out quick, don’t eat there.
