The chef is Michelin-star awarded, and it truly shows in the quality and presentation of the food. Our server, Vinit, was fantastic, super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Our server, Vinit, took our drink order and was extremely attentive throughout the meal. He patiently answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations.
For appetizers, we ordered paneer tikka, prawns Peshawari, and angari chicken – all were delicious, but the angari chicken was . We also tried the pani puri, which was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor.
For the main course, we had bullet naan, which had green chilies and a nice spicy kick. The dal makhani was hands down the best I’ve had so far -highly recommended . We also ordered a green salad and Jafrani chicken, and each entrée was served with fragrant basmati rice.
We loved the food so much that we even ordered chicken biryani and vegetable biryani to go. To end the meal, we had phirni, which was absolutely delicious.
Every dish had its own unique flavor, and everything -vegetables, prawns, and chicken -tasted incredibly fresh. I absolutely loved every item we tried and would definitely be coming back!
The service was quick and the staff was super nice.
We tried their paneer tikka for appetizers and that was a great start to the meal. For the main course, we ordered pineapple raita, malai kofta, dal tadka, missi roti, and butter naan. We even ordered masala papad. Everything was on point and loved out at Mausam.
The taste of the food was also great! Naan was not too thick and biriyani had great flavor!
We’ll be back when visiting again!
The mausam special kulcha and the keema naan were really good, like ones I’ve had back in India. The palak paneer corn dish was great and so was the chicken jafrani was excellent. The goat biryani was excellent. The chai was also pretty good.
Everything was done with an eye for detail and getting it right. The decor, the dinnerware, the cutlery, they have anything down right. I thought it was a regular strip mall Indian restaurant but this is something else.
Special thanks to the person who served us, Akshit. He was spot on with his recommendations and made sure to check in on us regularly. Made our visit great. Loved it.
I’m definitely going back every time in the the area and taking everyone I can there and telling everyone about them.
The tamarind margarita was delicious and playful, part of their innovative fusion cocktails. The meat platter was out of this world, with a range of succulent and perfectly grilled meats, including shrimp, kebab, tandoori chicken and mustard fish. Their chaat items were great as well. Their breads were on point too. I’m returning here anytime I’m around Colorado springs.
