Came in around 9 for dinner so it was no wait and steak chicken and shrimp were incredible. Perfect sear and not dry on the chicken and carne asada was nicely crusted while still tender. Came out hot and very good! The salsa was picante! Horchata was delicious and refreshing

I dined in at Mazatlan Bonney Lake, and first, I have to say the place is very clean and the staff was extremely friendly, definitely a welcoming atmosphere.
I ordered my favorite dish, Shrimp a la Diabla, which I’ve enjoyed at many other Mazatlan places. Unfortunately, I was disappointed this time. The first bite was intense, and my stomach started reacting right away because I’m very acidic. The sauce tasted overwhelmingly like ketchup, almost as if a whole jar had been poured over the shrimp.
What’s wrong with making it the traditional way instead of drowning it in ketchup? For the price of the dish, I was really expecting something more authentic and flavorful.
I truly hope they reconsider the recipe, because with such a clean place and friendly service, this could’ve been a much better experience.

Definitely one of my favorite “Mexican” restaurants to go to. The staff are super friendly, the service is great, and the food always comes out piping hot. Their prices are a little high, but you do get big portions and the service is good so it’s worth it in my opinion.

We were out late so it was great that they have later hours.
We also had our grandson with us, and everybody was very patient and kind.
Margarita was good and so was our food. I love their pico de gallo!
Though they were closing soon they did not make us feel rushed (we did leave by the time they closed).
My only disappointment is on the kids’ meal. They have a burrito, but I wish it was something that a kid could pick up to eat (it is just loosely wrapped without ends closed. We requested not to have sauce on it but it came with melted cheese). It gets a little tiring having just quesadillas that are Mexican food for kids. For those that are picky, they do have chicken strips etc.

After placing and online order and bringing it home to find it was incorrect I called to inform them and was challenged to bring it back and show them with a snappy attitude. I can no longer recommend them based on the terrible customer service. Even after bringing it back there was no apology, they seemed annoyed that I wanted the order corrected after spending over $100 on the order. I’ll be finding a new Mexican restaurant.

We’ve been dining here for nearly 20 years, and the food and staff have always been consistently good. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing. We found a large 2″ chicken bone in our soft tacos, something that could have easily caused someone to choke. We notified our server, Jose, who initially was so apologetic and then proceeded to bring the check with the full charge still included. When we asked to have the tacos removed from the bill, a reasonable request given the situation, he said he could only remove one taco since we had eaten the other. Losing a loyal customer of two decades over five dollars is unfortunate. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle and care for your customers.

Rude service. Couldn’t take payment at the front apparently.. food was fine, but service- horrible. They were non existent through our meal, and had the audacity to send my husband back to the table to wait for our waiter to cash us out. We literally paid out our butts to be treated poorly for our christmas lunch with grandma

What can say about Mazatlan that hasn’t already been said? I’ll tell you.
We had a fantastic experience at matatlan 2 days ago, we took open seating in the bar at a table and our waitress was amazing! There were several people in the bar area but she was the only one tending and waitressing and made it seem like there were four people working in there. That’s the amazing thing is they have excellent staff and excellent food that is a result of their dedication.
We had veggie fajitas, chicken taquitos, chicken chimichangas and cheese queso.
The other thing that makes Mazatlan so fantastic is they don’t cheat you on their portions, you’re going to walk away feeling fed and maybe even have a little box of something extra to take with you.
This location is a winner and I would highly recommend!

We got here early afternoon for lunch, a break before Mt Rainier.
Plenty of seating, clean and the business was very well maintained. It wasn’t even busy but sure looked like it could be.
Service was great, salsa and chips were great and the carne asada was top notch.
