$33 dinner buffet worth every penny.
The restaurant is new and clean.
Garfield the server is attentive and very personable who provided more than buffet service. He cleared my plates and asked if I needed anything a few times.
Good amount of space between tables.
Snow crab was sweet and just right, not overcooked , not water down. Quail was a good surprise, and damn pork ribs, beef back ribs were cooked well. Steamed oysters are on point and fresh. If you can rinse off the broken shells, it would be even better. Sashimi was fresh. Great dining experience better than expected.
Will return if I am in town.

I’ve been to many seafood buffets, but this is by far one of the best tasting and cleanest seafood buffets I’ve ever been to. The food is kept and served at the right hot temperature, and the cold items like fresh fruit is actually fresh. There is such a large variety of foods and I was so excited that a variety of boba and drinks are included in the price. I bought the side of lobster with garlic butter sauce and it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. I will tell all my friends and coworkers to come here! The staff and servers were super nice and engaging. I’m traveling through town and I’m so happy I chose this restaurant. This happy customer will be coming again! Thank you.

Delicious Cajun sauce and fresh seafood at reasonable price. Highly recommend their special sauce (a mix of everything).
For appetizers, we ordered the wings basket which comes with Cajun fries. I like how they seasoned the fries and it’s very crispy.
Service is friendly and the server keeps checking in on us.
The atmosphere is a little weird (dark lighting) and looks like a bar instead of a restaurant.
No reservations needed. Weekday lunch special available before 3pm.

Best tasting lobster I’ve ever had! Not rubbery and tons of flavor. Love the ambiance and decor. Love the super nice workers. Love the variety of sushi and drinks like Boba tea which is all included. It is totally fair to charge for wasted food over a pound. A pound is a lot. I highly recommend this place!

What happened to this place on my second visit?? Well, there’s no king crab legs as that got “phase” out when it first open and definitely for sure it was an eye opener how massive it look when I first saw it. Now it’s been replace by STEAMED SCALLOPS??…..meh! Yes, we all gave it a try and wasn’t anyone’s liking to a party of 4 that accompany me. The staff/employee serve ice cream was gone as well so that was short-lived but don’t make sense when you want ice cream and no one to serve you if you can find a staff/employee so now they offer ice cream in different flavors your waiter will ask you when they think it’s appropriate time for them to ask you but it does comes in a “mini” pack container. You do get “help-yourself” soda included in the price but in a 12oz can which isn’t as cold as I like it to be so I always ask for ice cup which is “small” and they give you styrofoam drinking cup and wish they could offer a bigger size cup and maybe self serve ice machine in the future for their customer instead of asking our server constant for it so it can free up their time to serve other customers. I couldn’t give their service any higher than a 2 star due to “trying” to find staff/employee to cater to our needs. It just didn’t meet our customer satisfaction on service. As for the atmosphere, it was bit dark and moody and could’ve add bit more lights per each tables but we choose the booth and yes, there’s a 2 hour eating limit on the wall by our booth but I didnt feel the awkwardness if we over stay our welcome more than 2 hours though. How’s the food? Good question….it’s seafood! Although, they do “try” to offer varieties of foods there but I do notice there were some dishes that was just too salty unless your one of those that “prefer” lots of salt in your dish than this is your place. The beef ribs is bit chewy and don’t expect fall off the bone…meh! The same goes for the broccoli beef which the meat was bit rough to chew. Wasn’t quite the dinning experience I wanted. But I do “enjoy” the pan fried squid and flavor lobsters tail(bargain price added to my tab). If this place could be amazing, it can but didn’t meet my expectations for every month eating out. It’s more like once-in-awhile kinda thing with flaws that could be improved from service to food wise. I know seafood is expensive to operate as a business and that’s a fact. If they can find a right balance to cater to their customer needs, I’ll give it another try.

If you love crab legs, this is the place for you. Seafood included Cajun season mussels, raw oyster, sashimi, sushi, variety of shrimp dishes and crab legs. There were 3 pans of crab legs and always filled. Crab legs were nicely steamed. I’ve had boil crab in water that were tasteless, but not here.
Fry foods were okay. Dessert was the usual Asian picks of coconut and coffee flavoured square cakes, a selected pastry. However, their scooped ice cream had a very homemade texture and taste. Probably the best part of the dessert option.
Service: wonderful. Our server wasn’t too overbearing but was very aware of our table clearing the dishes of our crab mess. Excellent customer service.
Atmosphere: the lighting was a blue tint on one side of the restaurant. Ocean was definitely the theme of the restaurant giving it an aquatic feel to your surroundings.
Overall
I enjoyed it very much so that I will return and try other items.
4.7 rating from me.

Great selection of food, it was fresh and great taste, they didn’t replace or restock the food very often so you had to wait a bit to get some of your favorites. Good sized crab and lobster tails that do cost extra and good selection of beverages also

Tons of foodie friends talked about this one so we had to make the trip all the way from Utah County.
It got so much hype that our expectations were a bit let down. First off, we got there and there was no one at the front to seat/greet people. We found out because the host was also helping the one waitress who was serving all the tables that were there – about 10 tables seated.
When we finally got seated, our waitress didn’t get to us till about 25 minutes from being seated. And then from there, we had to wait for another 20 minutes till our food got out. We did get greeted by the manager and she apologized for not having enough staff on hand. She let us try the gumbo for free, which was actually really really good! The seafood boil was just OK, but the deep-fried tonkatsu kids’ plates were good as well. I hope they can get enough staff to serve at full capacity!

I loved this place! The food was delicious. We built our own seafood boils where you pick and choose the items you want. They had nice background jazz music. But my favorite was the decor. So fun. It felt like you stepped into a cool restaurant by the sea. Great food and it was made better by the great ambience. Another plus…they are open late.

So excited that Cajun Boil has finally come to Salt Lake City. They have many of these in Los Angeles. The quality of the seafood was exceptional. Moderately priced with an aquatic atmosphere….and great drinks The icing on the cake was our server Daisy. She had great knowledge of the menu I certainly place this restaurant on my top 5 list for seafood and casual dining.
