Chips and salsa, yes please! Fajitas hit well here (shrimp and chicken only though—The steak is tough and flavorless). Burgers are decent. This place overall has good tasting food that is cooked well. Decent atmosphere. Great service.

Our server Hannah was amazing, attentive, pleasant, checked on his continually my iced tea was never empty. That’s huge in my book! Our food was hot fresh delicious, and exactly how we ordered it. We asked for no salt on our fries, and my husband was teasing me because I don’t think I’ve ever ever finished a plate of fries. They were that hot that good and that amazing fabulous fabulous we will be back.

Our chips and dip came with what looked like an entire bag of chips, including the tiny bits on the bottom of the bag.
The southern cheese dip was a new flavor to try. The new items on the menu were very tasty. The chicken bacon nachos were well covered on each chip. Another in the party had a new meal and it was tasty as well. It was quiet and easy to talk with friends. Service was a bit slow. Drink refills took awhile.

I would not recommend this Chili’s location. We waited 20+ minutes to be asked if we wanted a water or other beverages, and when our food came we did not get any napkins. The Wicked Marg, which was the reason we drove across icy roads for a half hour to be here, came in a regular cup and did not have a wand as advertised. Overall, this was a disappointing Chili’s experience that has left my outlook on the restaurant … chilly.

Never again. Our party of five was looking forward to a good meal and relaxing evening. We were seated promptly and our waitress was pleasant and took our drink orders shortly after we sat down. Everything okay up to this point. Half an hour after we placed our meal order, our waitress informed us that the kitchen messed up one of our meals and apologized for the delay. Forty five minutes after placing our order, the manager came to our table and said she had been informed of the situation and that she would grace us with a free dessert or maybe a discount on our meals. Five minutes later, half our meals arrived with two meals still missing. The manager came by again and noticed only half our orders had been served and stated “you still don’t have your orders?” She left and five minutes later returned with some discount cards. Soon after that our last two meals arrived. By that time, quite frankly, my hunger for a good meal was gone. The people that received their meals earlier had already finished eating and eager to leave. I told the manager to box up my meal to take home and I’d feed it to my dog. The second meal was described as okay but mostly cold by this time. I paid the check in full and added my typical twenty percent. I refused to use the discount cards and declined any offers for dessert. So much for an enjoyable evening with family and friends. I’ll not be back to this or any other Chili’s again.

If you’re searching for a truly out-of-body, reality-bending dining experience, look no further than the Shakopee Chili’s. From the moment we sat down, it was clear we were no longer bound by the usual laws of restaurant service. Our waitress approached, took our drink orders, and soon returned not with the drinks but with the announcement of a chips and salsa order that none of us had placed. Perhaps “Arnold Palmer” sounds like “chips and salsa” in some parallel universe, but in this one, I remain unconvinced. When it came time to order entrées, things only escalated. Instead of describing menu items, she launched into a monologue featuring emojis, her deep disdain for the English language, her dislike of American food, and most concerning the strong implication that she had never once eaten at Chili’s herself. Bold, considering where we were. Eventually, we asked for the check, requesting it be split by each person’s order. One would assume that a roughly $60 bill would be divided somewhat evenly. One would be wrong. The final split came out to a staggering $56 and $4, a financial mystery that still haunts me.

When we mentioned it, she returned with what can only be described as a bowl of salt cosplaying as guac. Throughout the entire night, she referred to us exclusively as “boys,” regardless of context, tone, or necessity. And just when we thought the chaos had peaked, she called the manager over mid-sentence only to inform us it was about something completely unrelated.All in all, the experience wasn’t the best meal of my life. It also wasn’t the worst. It existed in a strange, liminal space somewhere in between. Next time, though, I think we’re taking our talents to Applebee’s.

I told myself I would never go back to chilis after what happened in Florida but tonight our server Honorina changed our entire perspective on this company. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness was apparent immediately and she really made our night. We will certainly be back again and we hope she is our server.

This is the first time back in a long time from a bad experience I had the last time but thought I should give them another try. It’s very sad they no longer do 2 for 1 drinks. Also, I ordered classic margarita and it was half the size it used to be for $7.99 same price as the larger glads were. What a joke. I also ordered chicken snd shrimp fajitas. The flour tortillas were old tasting. The beans were cold and I had to ask them to heat them up. I guess I will be boycotting them again.

We stopped in last night for dinner. They were very busy but we were seated quickly. Our server swung by to let us know she’d help us shortly but we could tell she was very busy, so I appreciated her letting us know it would be just a minute. We were ready to order drinks and food once she was ready, everything came out great and tasted good! Our server was super nice and we appreciated her suggestions since we had never ate here. We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting the cities.
