Myself, my sister and her boyfriend, all 3 of us stopped by 2 days ago to get some food before we went for hours into North Carolina, we had originally ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The store was out of salad, so we had gotten a grilled chicken sandwich. Instead, the fries were undercooked and had no seasoning on them, the tomatoes were not ripe and the chicken was not cooked properly. All parts of the 3 meals we ordered were not cooked to satisfaction, I am highly disappointed in this zaxbys and would like for my orders to be remade. Especially after the fact I spent 32 dollars and got food worth 10.

If I could leave a negative star, I would!!!! My nephew, his girlfriend my daughter and their two kids stop by the Lake Wylie Zaxby’s after church last night at about 920 pm and they had a HORRIBLE experience they went through the drive-through ordered their food and was pulled up (as always) they waited for almost an hour. They sent the guy back four times because their food was wrong and in the end when it was remade they asked the manager to get a refund because the fries was raw ,the signature sandwich was made wrong. Everything that they ordered was something wrong with it except for the kids meal! They were treated horribly and very disrespected by management at that.Their order was $64 and my children come home hungry and none of them ate. They threw the food away. My nephews girlfriend had a full blown panic attack over this. It was absolutely uncalled for I’m very upset. I am waiting on the store manager to call me back now and if they do not do nothing about it, going to go above him until something is done! This is absolutely ridiculous! This store did not used to be like that. My nephew actually used to work there and when he worked there and the team that he was on, it was a good store, but they all left and now it is horrible. I feel sorry for anybody that eats their or has to deal with these people at all. They were just trying to get something quick because they were hungry after church and get home and get the kids in bed. I do not recommend this place. It is always dirty! The trash bags are always full most of the people that work there are absolutely rude. They don’t acknowledge you. They should’ve at least refunded their money since after four times their food was still not correct. They spent $64 and was overcharged for something they didn’t even order and was told by management that they cannot get a refund because the amount of their order. That’s does not even make sense. We will never be back. They’ve lost quite a bit of customers because they have no customer service experience whatsoever even the management I’m very pissed to say at least least. What ever happen to people that care to make sure customers get what they pay for and are pleased with their experience. They have definitely made a name for their self. I see all the horrible reviews and I hope one day that they put something different there. Also, I hope that the manager that was there last night and knows exactly what I’m talking about sees this and I hope and pray that she does not have children or grandchildren because how would she feel if her family was treated this way spending that much money and still end up throwing the whole order out ! I can bet you if it was her family or friends this would’ve been handled differently. It also makes me very angry because I feel like they were treated that way because they are young. some people in this world just make me sick literally and do not deserve a spot in customer service.

This place is just the absolute worst. Every time I go, I tell my family I’m never going back. Today was my son’s birthday, and he was sick, so I told him I would pick up dinner from anywhere he wanted, and of course, he chose the one place he knew I wouldn’t go any other day. I placed my order online (which was a hassle in and of itself for several reasons), and soon after received a text message telling me to park in a pick up spot and text the spot number and my name when I arrived and they would bring my food out. I followed directions and then waited for around 20 minutes before giving up and walking inside. My food was sitting behind the counter (not even on the order pick up stand), and while there were 4 or 5 employees, no one greeted me for several minutes. One employee was just playing on her phone, another walked right by me and never said a word. I finally had to say, loudly, “Can someone please get me my food?” while pointing to the bag that was 5 feet from me, yet so out of reach. The woman who was nearest turned and handed me my food and drinks, without any apology at all (or any other pleasantries either). I mentioned that I had been waiting outside for a while and her response was, “Yeah, the system doesn’t send us any notifications or anything.” Seriously? If that’s the case, then maybe pay attention to the pick up spots, which can easily be seen through the drive thru window, so you know when someone is there trying to pick up an order that your restaurant told them would be brought to their car! The levels of rudeness, ineptitude and just utter lack of common decency are through the roof every, single time I have the misfortune of letting my son talk me into ordering food from this Zaxby’s. New management is needed ASAP. Or maybe a bulldozer.
Oh… and they messed up my son’s drink… and my order, as usual.

Wish I could give minus stars. Awful experience. First off staff is very rude. Paid $22 for 2 meals and was missing items. Asked about it and they simply say they’re out. But didn’t say anything til after they took my money. Didn’t offer anything to replace things I paid for but didn’t get..very ” oh well” attitude. Chicken on both playes burnt. Won’t be back.. and yes manager was here and knew the whole situation and did nothing to help

Forget anything else that could be ranked, food, atmosphere, none of that matters to me! Because I stupidly drove away before I got my card back and the employees were honest and awesome! They held my card for the week I was searching everywhere for it frantically! And when I finally retracted my steps to this zaxbys the employees correctly asked for all my info on the card before handing it over to me. So 5 stars for being honest and awesome zaxbys!

This place never fails to surprise how much longer service can take. This was the last straw for our family. We live half way between lake Wylie and Newport. After sitting in line with 10 cars ahead of us and no one moving for 5+ minutes we decided to drive past our house to the Zaxby’s in Newport. We got home 10 min earlier than the time it has taken us to get food and get home from the lake Wylie Zaxby’s. Management really needs to staff better.

I love Zaxbys but this location is horrible. You wait forever (plan on 30 minutes minimum for drive thur and inside). Check your order for accuracy before paying and again when received. Always acts like it’s a burden to give you extra sauce even when you offer to pay for it. Ice machine inside is empty 90% of the time.

I have ordered from this location via DD 3 times and each time the order was prepared as if the staff never looked at the order receipt. And every single time something is missing from the order. It’s a simple process…look at order…place ordered items in a bag…double check the order for accuracy…send the order out the door. Never again.
